I got a call today from 01273673100, they asked for my husband by name and said they are the RSPCA. Wouldnt leave a message with me.

I too have had a call from this number (01273673100) on the 12th September in the evening.

Thought I would google the code to see where it was as when I have called this number it just rings.  

Interesting to read the comments regarding the RSPCA as they have contacted me last month but the number was with held.

this number keeps calling me and hanging up..ive called them back and no one answers...just who the hell are you and why are you calling me?

I have just put this number on google to see what the number is.  We have a missing cat.  Been in contact with all animal welfare people.  I didnot get to the phone fast enough to answer it.  Immediately rang back and it just kept ringing.  It rang my home number which is ex-directory.  The number I have put on any internet site has been a mobile number.  So how have they got my home number unless it is someone that I have actually spoken too!  Funny how this is linked to people having been in contact with the RSPCA.

i have had calls from this number too. on the vodafone webiste forum someone said its the vodafone customer services number. its on automated dialling so sometimes no-one is there when you answer. they are trying to get you to switch contracts.

i have also just had a call from this number. I txt a tv add to give money to the rspca and got a call from this number claiming to BE the rspca about a couple weeks later. I dont like giving my card details over the phone so thought id check it out first. looks like its a good thing i didnt.

I have had a call from them the last few days but they won't answer when I call back. I text in to the RSPCA text line and it might be them because somebody said on a previous comment that it is them ! From Katie x

i get called from this number alot recently when you answer it hangs up and when you call you get engaged tones and the nest time it rings on and on! something need to be done about it and fast!

I Just got a call from this number, answered it and someone was laughing then hung up!! Decided to google the number and seen all the comments so haven't bothered to call it back.  Bloody Idiots, feel sorry for them really, have they nothing better to do with their lives!!!

I received a call from this number. It was from someone calling on behalf of MIND, a charity that I donate to via monthly direct debit. They were doing the usual "thanks for contributing, but can we have a bit more, please?". Since it's from a source that have my details legitimately, I don't have a problem with that. Who can blame a charity for trying to raise some extra from existing donors whose contributions might have remained static for years? Hope this helps.

I have had alot of calls from this number myself... and when I call back it just rings and rings! They never answer!!

I also have contacted the RSPCA via text, but the first time they rang, which I missed it, they left a voice mail, and they rang from unknown number.

Had several calls from this number but phone gets put down as soon as i answer. Doesn't sound like much of a charity to me, sounds more like a scam or other. The website does seem legit but why keep doing this to people???

Two calls just hanging up in 2 days from this number, and as others have found, they don't answer if you call them back.

It rang at my house noon on a Sat-my 5 year old answered it-with Hello Daddy-Pooey!
When I got the phone off her-they had hung up-rang it back it was engaged-rang it back twice more-rang for a minute then gave the message that the other person had hung up
