i've been having calls from this person for about 2weeks now, and i thought i'd find out who, put the number in and found this website. very strange.

Just had a call from this number on a Sunday afternnon!!!! They spoke to my boyfriend and asked for me by name. Wondered who they were and how they got my number. I tried to call back but there was no answer-How annoying!!! They said they would call back.

i have been having this number call me 5 or 6 times a week everytime i try to call it back theres no answer same as everyone else

Just had a call from this number. I cancelled my subscription to Amnesty International a month or two back, having read this thread, I believe this to be the reason for the call.

This call is from Lloyds TSB regarding problem debt's.

Just had a telephone call at 8.55pm from 01273 673100 and was very suspicious and thought I would google the number, the girl said she was ringing on behalf of NSPCC and she wanted me to answer some questions, I do donate to charity regularly but I just didn't feel comfortable about this conversation.

This number keeps calling me and i am ignoring it. its worrying and annoying. ive googled it and its a brighton number. i know no one from brighton or i am not involved with any company associated with this area.

Its not Lloyds and its not a charity. its a hoax. I have no debt, and dont give to any of the charities mentioned. They should not be calling.

it's likely that it's an automated caller. i knew someone who worked at one of these companies and as soon as they finish their call the computer has called there next one. If they need to go to the loo, talk to a colleague etc the call simply gets hung up: no conspiracy or suchlike.
Companies like this get paid by the charities to sign up will bequests, monthly direct debits etc. They are an annoyance for some, but are a very successful revenue generator on behalf of charities.

Had a call yeasterday evening about raising my Amnesty donations but that was from an unknown call. I don't see why they would call again today from a this number. This number's been calling 2-3 times a week daytime and have not picked up as I'm at work. Charity or not I just wish they would leave a message. It's pretty annoying!

Got a call from this at a rediculous time of night and one again just now - I live in Brighton so I figured there would be a reason for them calling (my letting agent or a friend or something) so I called back. Like every one else it just rang and rang. There are a couple of charity offices here which call on behalf of anyone and everything so that COULD be true, but the calling at rediculous times concerns me a bit. I'm just planning on ignoring it from now on, although I would like to be able to tell them to stop calling me!

We got a call from this number this evening,answer machine took it and they hung up. Very suspicious now looking on the web.

got a call from this number this morning asking for my ex partner ....the man said he was from the rspca . have had many calls from this number over the last year.
