Hello,
I have also been receiving calls from this telephone number: 01273673100. Both times I have been at work when they have phoned and they won't leave a message with my family. They say they are from the RSPCA and can only speak to me!
I have phoned the RSPCA twice now about this and both times been told they will phone me back and they haven't!
If this is a hoax call I'm wondering how they have got my telephone number as I am not listed in the phonebook! I bought some raffle tickets from the RSPCA so I'm not sure whether they have passed my deatils on. I do think the RSPCA do a great and difficult job, but I think it appears they need to work on protecting people's data as we all seem to be affected by this number and the only way it could have been leaked is via the RSPCA.

OK I have worked there, they are ligit and do do good things working conditions are really bad if your bord and they ring pick up and stop the voice and ask them how they are and if they are treated ok i bet you money you'll end up giving £3 pcm but to the fundriasers and in the form of a pint!
 ALSO ask for anna and tell her "you don't no what your doing" very funny hang on to your phone though she is an animal not the fluffy type!

This number just called my mobile whilst i was eating my dinner, by the time i had got up to answer it they had hung up!!! How inconsiderate! what a pest!

They just called me but i am Deaf and when i am trying to call back via typetalk they are not answering the phone. hmpf...

I got a call from 01273673100 today. I didn't answer it as i didn't recognise the number. I see it is for some sort of fund raising. How did they get my number as i am ex-directory??

Have had a few of missed calls from this number, so I 'googled' it, and I definitely didn't expect to find all these comments! Then I read about RSPCA and I 'clicked' as I had a call from RSPCA on my mobile (and gave them my land line number), a day before these phonecalls started!So I called this number back and I got an answering machine message, saying that they are 'professional fundraisers etc and that they will try to contact again'. So it seems it is a group working on behalf of (RSPCA) for fundraising etc. Better be careful though with this type of approach, get info out of them but then contact the organisation directly if interested!

I had a call about 8.30pm - silence then something about a yellow warning sign then hung up.

Just missed a call from this number while I was having dinner, googled it out of curiosity and from what I've read now, I certainly won't be answering if they call again.

I recently text the number from the tv advert for the rspca appeal (anyone else seen this?). Since then I have received calls from a couple of unknown numbers, including this one, but have always missed them. They have never left a voicemail so have never called back. I presume it is someone from the rspca.

I got two calls from this number purporting to be professional fundraisers. They hung up before the call could be answered. When I rang back I got a recording saying that they would ring back "at a more convenient time." By pressing 0 I got an answerphone. When I pressed the selection to speak to someone, all the responses came back saying the person was not available. These people are a real nuisance and I am most certainly NOT going to support any charity which uses such tactics, which I consider an invasion of privacy.

Don't answer unrecognised numbers but thought i would check out the dialing code, bit confused though as i don't know of anyone in the brighton area.

Just had a phone call from 01273 673100. at 5:30pm.
I picked up, said my usual 'hello', etc. but there was nobody speaking at their end.
Line went dead after half a minute or so.
I see from this forum many other people are bothered by this nuisance call.

Just found this number 01273 673100 stored on my phone when I came home. Typed the number into Google and found all this info. I will now just ignore it and if anyone phones asking me to confirm my personal details I shall put the phone down. Thanks for all the comments so far.   F.

This was from the RSPCA saying thanks for text sponsering from TV advert.
Asking about direct debit set up etc.
