They've called 3 times today so far. Always looking for the same non-existent person. this happens on a daily basis and has been so, on and off for years. they want you to call back which will cost you an arm and a leg. This Brighton based number that goes through what sounds like an Indian call centre charges 22p per second to call. Someone is making a lot of money from this scam. This is why BT et al look the other way.

Both myself and husband have had loads of calls on our house phone and mobiles from this number. There is only ever one woman and one man that call. We have told them that we will report them for harrassment yet they continue to call.

then why do they nearly all sound indian or pakistani
and most can just about speak english

why dont they leave a message! i vet all my calls before pick up as so many are time wasters!

14 calls in 5 days for my daughter who hasn't lived here for over 2 years Says its Lloyds TSB and like others,,,,an Indian call center.
Next time I will give them their own number to call.
Isn't it time someone put a stop to this????? Look at the numbers being harrassed!!!

They are not allowed to hassle and if its genuine then Lloyds would be able to stop it. Phone lists are sold on all the time...especially in countries UK businesses use.
Try getting wakened up 3-4 times a day for weeks on end when you are on a night shift. God help my patients when I don't function through lack of sleep.
Report it, and keep reporting it till something is done.

Yes..says they are Lloyds TSB but I agree with onother poster that our numbers have been sold on.

Not the case mate. No debt, don't even have an account with them. Our numbers have been sold on. Total idiots. Told them I was dead and they aologised for calling but did the same 2 days later.

We have moved house a couple of weeks ago and we are receiving several calls a day from this number 01273743574. We have reported it but BT nor Lloyds do anything about it. I wonder what does one has to do in order to stop it. They say they are from LLoyds TSB and ask all kind of personal information, lately they ask for a Mrs x...so annoying. Who is selling our new telephone numbers to this people?

My brother who is with Lloyds Bank,stayed with me for a while, he got himself into financial difficulty,but is sorting things out with a debt management plan.All the companies he is paying money back to are quite happy,Lloyds accepted an amount he was able to pay,but now they phone my number up to 6 times a day.Ihave asked them not to call my number as I have nothing to do with them or NEVER will. they say that a note will go on the account not to call my number,but within a day or so it starts again.I now have caller display & do not answer or pick up the phone & sit it next to the tv.

This is the worst company ever,I would never ever use this bank even if it was the last one on earth,I wouldnt even want to work for them. A family member worked for Bank of Scotland in customer services,Lloyds took over,the staff are under so much pressure to make sales,sales,sales, day in day out .If they do not reach their quota they are bullied & disciplined. This person is trying to find another job. As a customer they are not interested if you havnt any money,will refuse to help.they do not care about customers,they are just a greedy company,wouldnt touch them with a barge pole

I have been getting calls every 2 hours ...01273. is a local call code to me but I was put though to a indian call center who asked me for my card details and D.O.B Thing is I do not have a T.S.B card .

Block the number they just keep ringing and ringing .

This number just called my wife's mobile. Same as some other posters: dead air then hang up after about 15 seconds. I imagine it is someone who has sold numbers to some scammers who are trying to get your details.

I have been with Lloyds for over 15 years. I have never once been rung up by them about my account, and they themselves will never ask for your credit card details, anyone who does is probably dodgy! I was once sent a message saying I should go into branch or contact customer services, as this way you know you are actually talking to the bank and not some thieves.

i would imagine that if you did go overdrawn or something with your lloyds account, then they wouldn't contact you anyway. they would want you to keep paying overdraft charges!

These people keep calling with an inoying tone of voice and want to speak to my wife..whe I ask who they are they hang up..if this is Loyds TSB and they use these as an agent, could somone explain to them what customer service is as I would ove to re-train them or better still, get someone who can speak English and maybe you would get a better resonce..idiots

8 am and they ring! Both land line & mobile! Answering the phone = silence. Very frightening. I am sheltering two young girls, both the victims of abuse & this is very very scary!

I've also had many calls from this number, but when I answer there's no reply, which is very annoying, on an odd ocassion they say its Lloyds TSB they ask personal questions which I refuse to answer then hang up.
