i'm getting bombarded too, i have travel insurace with swinton but did go on go compare, these comparison websites should be shut down or at the very least have a code of conduct for 3 calls then stop fecking pestering

These vultures are still calling me - how are they getting away with it for so long?  Should be illegal to pester people like this!

Did a home insurance quote on Swinton's own website and got a call from this number within 15 minutes - looks like it's not just the compare sites.

got 2 calls today, already have car insurance with this copany, message at the end of call said " if you want these calls to stop ring this number 01274832272" I did, let's hope it works.

It will be the mindless activity of a company called Swinton. Their marketing, sales and customer service are subhuman. Low class bargain basement uncaring dogmatic mindless buffoons who have managed to find more ways to irate me (ex customer) than scabies, head lice, paper cuts and lemon juice all rolled in to one! If there is any balance in the universe then they should be melting away into obscurity within the next decade because as a business they need to get a grip on their operation. As for brand; well Swinton and dogsh@t are slowly becoming synonymous. If you have shares that have anything remotely to do with this lot, dump them now!

I was on a comparison website (comparethemarket.com) for house insurance yesterday and last night I got a call from 01422249611 (Swinton Insurance) and  this morning from 08456830800. I didn't answer either and no messages were left.

If this is the start of a tirade of marketing calls because I was looking for insurance yesterday and entered my details onto one websight - and expressly ticked the boxes to say I did NOT want to be contacted by others etc. etc. I think there should be some sort of regulatory system to protect against this or at the very least, a warning on the site about the consequences of using the site!

I called the 01274838272 number back in december when they first started calling me and was told that my name would be removed from the list unfortunately they have started to call me again and now I cannot get through to this number.

I don't know what to do now!!

When on to gocompare.com to get an insurance quote, clearly stated for my number not to be given out to 3rd party companies, since then i have 2 calls from this number!!! Grrrrrr......

I Keep getting calls from this number which i will not answer because I told the last caller from that number, who had an asian accent and a NASTY and threatening manner, that im no longer interested in life-insurance ("Why did you tell us that you were interested then?" - with a snarl and an intonation i did not like, after which he hung up!!).

I get several calls from this number every week now. I'm extreemely PISSED-OFF with the caller, and if I could meet that nasty Git I'd break his fingers.

Yep! Just got a call off this number after getting a quote from moneysupermarket.com! Literally an hour after. Glad I found an explanation because i definately won't use them again!
