Missed call from this number - who is it?

...got a call from this number after completing an insurance quote on gocompare.com (be very careful of entering your 'correct' mobile phone number on online forms) as you will get these 'automatic' calls!!!!

got two missed calls from this number, never answered. A day after I entered my details on confused.com website for a car insurance quote. Don't know who its was or what they were trying to sell me but i don't tend to answer many calls from numbers i don't know. I hope they don't start pestering me :s Who are they?!

Fear not....it is Swinton calling regarding a marketing call. I've got a policy with Swinton after using the comparison websites. I reckon they are trying to call to sell something else.
When these marketing companies call, they call via a power dialler (the computer calls you rather then the marketing sales rep physically keying in your number) if there is no rep available to take the call when the computer calls you, you get the joy of dead air (which I do) or missed call.
I've contacted Swinton (my local branch) and they are going to forward this info to their marketing department as there is obviously a system issue..

Also receiving calls from this number. Do have a policy with Swinton. (If this continues it may not be for long!).

im so glad im not the only one getting calls like this. my friends answered it for me and they just hung up.. it freaked me out a little..

i keep getting calls from 01422 249611 in prticular  or also 01422231200 and when i anwser nobody on the other end

have not rung them back as it could be a premioun rate or something

received a call from 01422249611 i had just completed several forms online looking for quotes for can insurance, ssinton, go compare, compare the market

This is most definately related to car insurance.. I'm sure its the gocompare that disributed by number.

Started getting calls from this number almost minutes after I used confused.com for car insurance quotes. I finally answered my phone today after they rang three days in a row and as they didn't even know my correct name I said they had a wrong number.

I answered and there was no response on the other end. I have been gettin insurance quotes recently.

same as everyone else. i entered my details on a couple of insurance websites getting qoutes, and hey presto, got rung by this number. even though i ticked the box saying not to share my details with anyone else.

It's Confused.com doing it. I used them at the weekend and have had 4 calls today; I didn't use gocompare

I have 5 missed called from this number.  I have never got back to my phone in time to pick it up.  I did do some on-line car insurance quotes a month or so ago though.

I got a few qoute from comparethemarket last night and i already got 2 call today. both with nobody at the other end. i wonder when will they stop calling

Yeah ive got a policy with Swinton after going on the compare websites. And also no one there when I anwsered. They will get a mouthful If there is ever anyone there.
BEWARE never use real phone number on compare sites.

Just got one of these calls ... no one answering when I picked up.  Next time if they ring and I get a rep I might just do the same to them before telling them I've now got car insurance with the AA!

just had missed call from this number . this call is deffo linked to the insurance websites. just got some quotes from gocompare.com now getting these calls.
