Receiving calls from this number and it is very annoying. Damn marketing calls, I hate them.

I keep having the calls - every day for weeks! Tried the 01274 838272 t stop it but no joy. Anyone know how to stop it? It's really annoying.

Please don't call my number again as it is very annoying because no one every answer the call  when i answer

keep getting calls from 01422249611 at about 4pm everyday. i never pick up and have now had to put this number on my phones reject list, yet they keep trying every day for the past week. dont they get the meesage? or should i answer and tell them to F***off?

Just had a courtesy/sales call from this number. They've rung a few times and noones been there so this time i answered it and they had to listen to eastenders before they hung up - seconds later they rang back and my husband answered, they werent too impressed at listening to ricky and bianca hahaha.

I just got one of these calls - due to bad reception the call broke up before I could find out who was calling. I was on Tesco compare car insurance last night so I assume it must have been connected to this. Don't think I will call back, as it was only  a speculative quote I was doing.

I used confused.com and quoteline direct for home insurance and had a missed call from this today on my mobile.
I asked that my details not be shared but obviously they ignore that!

I have had the same calls and returned a call to this number, only to be instructed to call another number to stop this. This is totally unacceptable that I have to make a call which could be a premium rate call to stop call I never asked for. I reported this to the Telephone Preference service and they said it was from a Power dialler that was not set up properly, as they are meant to direct answered calls to a representative of the company. They have told me to call 0870 4443969 or visit www.silentguard.co.uk and register my number to stop silent calls. It is also worth registering with the TPS to stop any unwanted cold calling/sales marketing to your home number.
Hope this helps all on this problem as it is very annoying.

Yep, had just completed a car insurance quote on tesco.com which included swinton and this number called me

getting fed up with this number calling me...what can I do??

It was confused.com that did it for me. Didn't answer so I'm unsure if it was swinton.

many calls from this number,when answered no-one there

Have just been on Confused.com to renew my home & contents and so fas since 3 pm have recieved 4 calls, each with no one on the end when I answer.
Did eventually get round to looking up the number and calling them back to be direct by a recording to: 01274838272: which in turns leads to one Alister Thompson's voice mail

same as above completed on line form for go compare and swinton and now keep getting calls.
don't answer them as don't answer calls from numbers not known to us
