Had several unsolicited calls from this number, asking for me by name, trying to interest me with "an exciting new policy". I'm on the TPS list. I believe this number is Swinton Insurance.

Got a call from someone stating that they were from Swintons and that it was a new Personal Injury Protection Insurance for £60,000.

Did an online quote for home insurance on go compare then an hour later this number called me.

For the second time in 2 years I have taken car insuarnce with Swinton and then had a spate of these annoying calls. This time I rang them back and of course got an answer-phone and was told to ring a further number. No-one answered this one either but the answer phone said leave details to be taken off their list. Have done this twice and still get calls. I am on the TPS but that is a joke.
Have now told my local Swinton office, who weren't very understanding, that they have lost any further business.

Please tell others of this.

This number is definitely SWINTON COLLONADE INSURANCE.  Here's an idea - why don't we all go on as many comparison sites as possible, get quotes with fictitious details and enter their own number 01422 249611 and they'll end up calling themselves LOL or even better, lets get a 0908 number for them to call LMAO

I too have had a couple of calls from this number.  I have used the gocompare.com website recently too.  These calls are a real pain...

Used gocompare.com and confused.com and have started receiving unsolicited calls.  Beware of entering your telephone number if you do not want calls.  This is the fourth company today.

tis right it is swinton marketing- got one of these eventhough i'm with telephone preference service. What a nerve!

I used go compare just before I started recieving the calls. I don't have any policies with Swindon. Any idea how to stop them from cslling me?

Got a call from this number  the other day, tried to phone them back on a land line with NO such luck,. Not got a clue who this is.

I have one word to say on this matter...CAPQUEST!!! this debt collection agency uses alias' such as swinton insurance to track unsuspecting debtors. beware i have recieved calls from this company who so far have used around 15 different numbers to try and catch me out.... Do u think i'm stupid CAPQUEST?! Dream on!!!

Unsolicited calls from the above number. Hang up when told call being recorded. Wht's the use of being registered with the TPS when this type of call persists?

I keep receiving call from this number. Very annoying. When calling back is a Swinton company but noone answers!!!

Got a missed call on my mobile during work hours from the above number.  No voicemail message left so do not know who it was.

Had another 2 missed calls from the above number - yesterday I had been on confused.com and entered my details which is leading me to believe it's some company wanting to quote me for insurance - not answering the calls.

am now getting rather fed up with this number ringing me know! If i dont answer it goes to my voicemail which when i check then find that they dont even leave a message, resulting in me being charged for using my voicemail. I am not impressed!
