I'm also being bothered by calls from this number - but I already have policy with Swinton so presumably they want to sell me something else.  Very irritating - 10 calls in three days (including four between 12pm and 3pm today), all when I'm at work.

I got today a missed call from this number, recently i was trying to get a car insurance quote on confused and gocompare.com. that is really strange i have no idea why!!!

Yep, its Swinton via gocompare.com. Swinton were the cheapest quote on the details I typed into gocompare - until I tried to click through and buy it, when suddenly the price jacked up by £80. What sort of an idiot do they think I am??? :-)

Also getting these call about 2/3 times a day after getting quotes from gocompare. Quite anoying. I'm planing to make up a list of premium rate numbers to use on web forms, see if having them sped a fortune on phone bills makes them stop it. also gonna check if I pay when answering, and if not I'll pick up and leave the call running untill i get tired. Mine is a mobile phone so it wont be cheep for them i they pay.

160270105531 called 09:30 on a Saturday Morning, but their was no one on the other end. Reportedly this was Swinton Collonade (Insurance Advisors?).

Yesterday I spent time on numberous Insurance Comparison sites and was floded by callers during the evening. Presumably this was one of these but some what later.

I put 01274 838 272 in a GoCompare quote for Mike Hunt. So they should be pestering themselves now.

I had a call from this Nomber, and what a pain to get rid of it and stop it calling.  ll because I had a insurance quate from go compare. that means I won't be using them again.. sorry go-compare but you have just lost a customer..

Yep, did online insurance comparison and signed up with Swinton, now getting silent calls. However, these can be stopped by registering with: 'silent call guard' on: 08443722325. It takes about 90 seconds to do and is only the cost of the phone call. You can also register against other sales/nuisance calls with: www.ppsonline.org.uk or via: 08450700707, again taking just under 2 mins and the cost of the call.

Get a call at least once a day from this number when I answer it just rings off, I've been on car insurance websites recently also house insurance so this could be the cause,a proper nuisence, also put a complaint on about 0160645834 this turns out to be financial solutions, never had dealings with them.

I have a insurance policy from Swinton and the number you are recieving calls from are swinton trying to sell health, home insurance or whatever they can to boost their salary at the end of the month. Very annoying tho, in the past week I've had 35 missed calls from them. Obviously the number is in my reject list on my phone. When you ring this number back they give a number to phone to decline further calls but you can always garauntee the mailbox is full!

I had a Swinton car insurance policy that ended last month, haven't entered my mobile number anywhere else like confused.com so they must have got it from this expired policy. Over the last week I have gotten at least 2 calls a day from this number only answered once and they tried to sell me life insurance and I said no but the calls have continued.

Thinking of getting a new number or a phone that allows number blocking!

These calls are a nuisance. 01422 249611 & 01422 284250. Theres never anyone there! It could really freak someone out. I have these numbers listed as "Do Not Answer" on my phone.

Lets hope this website isnt just all talk and reporting this pest actually does something!
