I really would like a reply to my questions as I too am thinking about doing a Family Prosperity Trust with National Legal Assistance but i need some reassurance - please!!

I think £2000 is a very good deal if it protects my estate which is worth well in excess of £350,000.

My mother and father ended up in care and i just want to make sure my two children get what is rightfully theirs.

There is nothing wrong with National Legal Assistance or their Trusts. They are a good company and offer a fantastic and practical solution to protecting assets from the clutches of the Community Care Act and the fees associated with it.

2) A direct link to a company via the above is not possible.
However,via  third party sites this is possible. E.g.:

5) If his name has indeed been entered fraudulently as a director, as you allege, there will be an investigation by the fraud department at Companies House and the police.

If the submission was paper based, there will be a forensic investigation of the all the materials submitted to establish the identity of those who made the submission. Fingerprints, DNA and handwriting will be included.

If the submission was electronic, 'electronic fingerprints' will show where the submission originated from. IP and Mac numbers etc will also be examined and traced.

6) It would therefore be prudent that if you are in any way implicated in Gerald Barton's submission, or his activities, be it fraudulent as you allege, or not, you should immediately find a trustworthy solicitor and make a statement to Companies House and the police.

and the UNFORTUNATE background of Mr Barton Tell it to someone who care's ask the consumers that parted with substantial amounts of money how UNFORTUNATE it was. And it has every bearing on the current situation.

I am a solicitor and I have looked over many of the Trusts bought into our firm by  National Legal Assistance clients and those of Minster ( the same of course!).  The Trusts are overly priced by hundreds of pounds and NO they will not protect you the way you have been advised!

You, teh client, are being 'scammed'.  This company holds no qualification in order to draft  these legal documents.  Please check with ANY solicitor and WITH someone who has the qualfifications to deal with complex propertY matters!  

No one should pay as much as £2000. for a Trust especially to a non solicitor and a company who cannoy employ a qualified legal staff!

No smoke without fire! You can defend yourself as much as you like but it is all out now in the open. We shall continue to fight for our client and raise public awareness

If you are (as you claim to be) a "solicitor", I have to say that I would not like any legal documents drawn up by yourself, looking at the state of your clerical skills (typing and spelling)!

'jimbob thankyou for your comments if your friend is a (satisfied) consumer then they are the only one's. And that is nice of you to come forward in their defence!! We can not tell you or anyone else who they should do business with IF YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS ARE HAPPY CARRY ON?  And if it was only two weeks ago, wait until were talking 6 months to get it finalised if  they ever get it finalised the company may close by then.

Read the links on previous comments then say that there is nothing wrong, if you are a friend to this person you should alert him to try and get a refund.

The Trusts were bespoke to one particular client's situation and can only be used for that client, instead they are using this for everyone. they don't take the particulars down of every client all they are interested in is how much money they have so they know how much to cream of the top, Greedy Fat Cats.

'heracles' Always happy for your comments Even if someone had changed the details on companies house without Mr Barton knowing, it doesn't alter the fact that he had his name on the lease of a company trading fraudulently! and that just so happens to be with his old partners in crime.

Perhaps you should concentrate on facts rather than conjecture!

Yet again, childish slurs upon my character. I presume these slurs are due to the fact you still have failed to produce any evidence and it is your way of feeling better about yourself.
