I don't favour Minster Legal Services. Their shareholders are not performing their duties and I believe are trying to fraudulently pass the buck on to Gerald Barton. Companies House fraud department are dealing with the situation.

National Legal Assistance is nothing to do with Minster Legal Services. It is a completely different company.

This company holds no qualification in order to draft these legal documents  and holds no qualfifications to deal with complex property issues, have they even told the clients about the tax rate that they would have to pay it would mean a total transfer from their estate, An Accountants advice would be specifically required. And they don't give any of that information to the clients.

This conversational thread is a joke! It is one person with a personal vendetta against someone/anyone, just causing trouble and making libelous comments and attacks on peoples characters. The person has no evidence, yet still continues to denigrate.
Please feel free to place what ever stock you wish in "KW's" comments. I personally just see a hurt, disgruntled, angry ex-employee attempting to attain some kind of revenge.

At the end of the day we, and others like us, have been scammed by Minster Legal Services who changed their name to Saga Legal Services and then changed it again to National Legal Assistance.  We have ended up with PPT wills and LPAs that are of no legal value and we have been to a local solicitor who has confirmed this.  We have reported the company to Trading Standards and the Legal Services Ombudsman but seem to get absolutely nowhere with either getting our documents amended to make them legal or getting a refund.  If National Legal Assistance is in no way connected to Minster Legal Services then why have they just written to me informing me that my files have been sent to the Society of Will Writers in Lincoln.  If they really are nothing to do with Minster Legal Services then they would not hold my files in the first place.  We are just an ordinary retired couple who could ill afford to spend the money we did on these documents that are not legal.  You lot can spend all the time you want sniping at each other but there are others out here, just like us, who have ended up the worse off because of Minster Legal Services.

Regardless of whether you believe KW to be a disgruntled employee, or whether he/she/they are actually fully correct, it cannot be denied that this thread was not started by KW, but by general disgruntled people voicing concerns about Minster Legal cold calling them.  I personally do not see it as one persons vendetta.

It appears the jury is still out on what the truth is regarding who is now Minster Legal Services, but there are many comments on this thread from various members of the public, with complaints and issues about National Legal (and also mentions of their previous name, Saga), which have not been posted by KW.

There is a lot on this thread now, and past few postings seem to be a battle between yourself and KW, however, people ought to read the prior posts that are not from KW, but from various people voicing their concerns.  I would be very interested to know what the current employee who has posted on here can add now - that may throw further light on things and aid clarification.

Please get in touch with the shareholders who have a company in Doncaster called Express Law (www.expresslaw.org.uk). It is up to the shareholders to resolve any issues due to the sole director passing away. The shareholders names are Andrew Young and Martin Smith.

I think you will find that the "current employee" is not a current employee at all but perhaps is a former employee.

Any questions to do with Minster Legal Services should be directed at the shareholders, which I have stated are at Express Law in Doncaster.

National Legal Assistance (formally Saga Law) are in no way associated with Minster. If you no longer wish to receive cold calls from companies, you should sign up for the TPS. It does take a little time for that to come into effect but you will notice a dramatic decrease in companies calling you.

If, as you say, National Legal Assistance has nothing to do with Minster Legal Services then please answer my question and say how did they hold my files and write to me saying they had sent them on to the Society of Will Writers.  I have already contacted Andrew Young at ExpressLaw because he was a Trustee of Minster Legal Services and he has written saying he can be of no assistance as he and Mr Smith have no association with Minster or Saga Legal Services.  It is Mr Young who informed me that Minster/Saga Legal Services had set up a new company called National Legal Assistance trading from the same venue with the same staff.

But the point is....there are unhappy clients of Saga and National on this thread too, and points made at the beginning about signing up to TPS and the named companies taking no notice of that.  These were the initial issues regardless of what has been said since.

'heracles' Thankyou for your comments yes we clarified that Mr Barton leased these premises, the same office where these fraudulent activities are carried out!! but you don't deny the allegations against him, the clients that Minster Legal Services did business with would gladly clarify the fraudulent activities, and their financial loss.

To use and analogy; If I moved into your house, would I become you? No. So just because another company is trading from the same address as a previous one, does that make them the same company? No. Minster Legal Services is in no way associated with National Legal Assistance (formally Saga Law).

Andrew Young and Martin Smith are obviously shirking their responsibilities as shareholders.

As for your files, I know nothing of that and therefore could not make comment.
