This number kees ringing me all times of the day and night! Im a young single girl who lives alone wiv very serious and varied mental health and anxiety problems and am very vulnerable and scared to answer my fone and they r hounding me even ringing up to 1:00am in the morning!!! Surely this is not legal to ring and hound people like this. Does anybody know wot i can do to stop them? Surely if they dont get an answer from ringing me at least 4-5 times a day and they dont get an answer then they should send me a letter out instead so i can hav my family who deals withmy paper work help me...!!!!

Although this firm of debt collectors are a pain in the backside, I doubt that they would call at 1.00am? Perhaps it is a friend, or even a wrong number.

If I was you, I'd drop them a line, explaining your situation, and asking that they ONLY contact you by letter. They have a legal obligation to do this if you request it.
It may be an idea to send it by recorded delivery.

In the meantime, please don't worry too much about it. They won't do anything, despite their threats and bullying. They are relatively small fish in the cesspit that is debt collection, and really not worth getting in to a state about.

Have several calls from west gate asking for Sarah Roberts,told them I don't know her,and to remove my number from their databank,I have now blocked them

If you don't owe them anything, then tell them that, and advise them that you will charge THEM if they continue to call you.

It's really not worth getting yourself into a state about this. They are 10 bob debt collectors. They have no powers whatsoever.

Do they stop calling you eventually if you keep ignoring the calls?

i have been getting this call 2time a day for the past week after looking  up the number i find it is a dept collection service so i imediately know it is something passed on from british gas i moved into this bungalow in july last year and have neve been with them but the last ( deceased ) tenant has, after many calls letters and help from local mp it was finally resolved .  
         
   I still think i paid too much for the month it took to change over to my choice of supplier and have also a letter i opened as   it was addressed to me and found they have paid a Warm Home discount  to MY british gas account ( non existant) unfortunately i did click yes when asked if it was my neme then  asked to hold on for the next agent .AS i dont believe in  getting  in dept abov e wha t i know i can pay  off in the required  time  i know i dont owe  any one else  a  penny

Keep being rang by this number asking for someone who doesnt live at this number.  Always a automated voice.

Westcott Credit Services just called me looking for somebody else.  Even had the cheek for me to confirm MY address so they don't send post.  Told them to send and I'll return if it arrives "no you HAVE to give me your address" the cheek of it!!!

Called my daughters phone.  Idiots.
Reported them to 7726 and put them in the block list.

Computerised voice asking me to press 1 to confirm my name or press 2 to not accept that it was my name.I Just hung up.

I keep getting automated calls for a mr roladi jajala, whoever that is, and it's driving me nuts. How can I contact them and tell them to f off?

E: I just called the number back and they removed my number.

Two days on the run this number has called, forty five seconds of silence.....then they hang up.......

Repeated calls to wife's mobile - answered with no reply from caller and line went dead.  Calls coming in every day and not answered, just deleted every time from call log.

I keep having calls from this number telling me to press 1 if I'm the named person and press 2 if I'm not. on pressing 1, the message is repeated. How can I stop this? If this a debt collector,  I don't owe any-one any money unless I'm not aware of it!

i have been getting calls from this westgate and asks for a name who does not live here i am so annoyed as they ring numerous times a day and late in the evening.
this has been going on for now 5 weeks i wonder where they find your number as mine is ex directory so annoying to keep being hassled by phoning at unreasonable times.
