do they normally call late at nite they called me at 9pm no one spoke 4 ages then i can hear some1 going hello hello then hang up not happy they have all day to call and they do it at 9pm.

These arrogant people keep calling my number and not leaving a message. I have called back and they asked for my details for data protection...I told them it was in my rights not to give them my details and that I want my number removed from their phones. Arrogant woman said "well you will still keep getting calls then". Told them that I will be putting a formal complaint in to get their number blocked.

This is not a scam, it is a legitmate credit company that chase debts.  I had an outstanding debt previous and did not realise and they called me and text so eventually i called back.  They went through my details and the debt and actually it was owing.  The longer you leave it, the more they will contact you as this is what they are paid to do.  Best fet back to them if the debt is yours and get it sorted like I did.

Called me today and left a message, saying I owed money to British gas, i was due to pay my bill tomorrow as this is when i get paid. I advised British gas of this 2 weeks ago after numerous phone-calls and emails from them! But still i get stupid companies calling me, its ridiculous!!!!

They just called me today, i have never had a call off them before. asking for sarah but a different surname i said well this is sarah and gave my surname, they asked me if my name had ever changed i said no and they said ah ok please disregard the call and hung up!!!

Sadly this IS the debt collection agency that 02 use. I'm in a big dispute about an overcharged bill I didn't pay and now have wescot demanding 5 times the original amount from me. [***].

if these brain dead keep calling sending letters, DO NOT WORRY I have had it for years got to the stage funny enough i get a kick out of it. Remember it is NOT a crime to owe money uless it is goverment money of course tax benefits and so on. Unless you have a Picaso on your wall dont worry even then they is away out. Ok you have had the credit but as life goes on your cicumstances differ, So it is them that take that chance you cannot prediced the future.

Got a text from these guys yesterday saying I had to contact them urgently on an 0844 number re an outstanding account. Then had a bizarre voicemail from this phone number, 01482 590502, which didn't even give a business name it just gave out opening times and a phone number.

Then had a call from them this morning on 01482 number, I answered the call and it clicked - so was an automated dial call such as cold call companies use, a chap came on the line and said 'I would be transferred to someone who would tell me why they were calling...' - the line went dead but the call carried on, I hung up after about 15 seconds.

They have now texted me again. Most annoying, I don't owe money.

Got a phobe call this morning from this phone number, 01482 590502, Westcot Credit Services. A guy told me  "I would be transferred to someone who would tell me why they were calling" - I refused to be transferred and told him he could get his colleague to ring me direct, his response was "why do you not want me to transfer you", again told him as he knew I was home his colleague could ring me - at which point he told me he would call again tomorrow?  Good luck with that......

i get a call from 01482 590502 saying this is westcot credit services.please telephone us on that number then the times they are open. its a automated call. if they want to speak to me they can put a human on the phone or write to me. oh and i never do credit.

they call me everyday and everyday I tell them not interested

Having missed numerous calls over a period of about 2 months, i got fed up, rang them back and told them that if they do not remove me from their calling list I will call the police and report them for harassment! So far so good... :-)

Got missed call off this number thursday (no voicemail) then text message giving a ref number to call back and quote, deleted said text. Then another missed call again today at 8:45pm, no voicemail again.
I have no debt, so no idea why i am getting calls.

These people are scum bags - they bully and harrass - they bring nothing to the table-  their objective is to get money from you by whatever means even if it means breaking the law

These debts are unsecured - they have NO AUTHORITY - don't pay them . Tell them to F.U.C.K OFF !!  If you tell them not to  call.  They MUST STOP - thats the law in the UK

Tell the caller to get a decent job and stop breaking the law . Turn the phone around away from your ear and just scream obscenities at them Ha ha ha

I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the telephone calls that I have received  from your company today.

I am now formally requesting that all further correspondence to me is made in writing only.

I demand that these phone calls stop immediately and to any other telephone number assigned to me on your data base. I am familiar with the terms of Section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act 1970, and the Protection from Harassment Act 1970

If you continue to call, you will also be in breach of the Wireless Telegraphy Act (1949) and, as such, I will report you to both Trading Standards, The Office of Fair Trading, the police with an insistence via the duty inspector of the reporting police station that a crime report is initiated against your company and subsequently the individual making the call. With an additional posting on the internet for the media and public’s attention to add to the hundreds of complaints about your company’s modus operandi.

Take further note that continued telephone calls after the receipt of a this formal demand ‘not to call’ will constitute a criminal offence under Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003 and you will have been in de facto breach of the Telecommunication act 1984 (as amended) (cf: Section 43. 1 (b), and are committing a prima facie criminal offence attracting a £5000 fine or 6 months imprisonment), on the grounds that it is unnecessary, causes anxiety and is a pointless waste of time.


You will be deemed to have been served notice of my request and I will deem it served by

01482 590502 called me today and i asked who it was they said they could not tell me that it was personel,they asked for my address they said that was not the address they had then asked me my mob number and said that was not the number they had in front of them should i worry about this as i gave them my past three addresses. VERY SUSPICIOUS.

received phone call from this number, confused information as to who they wanted to speak to, began asking what/who they wanted to determine which dept to put them through to.   They refused to say who they were due to data protection yet they were ringing us to be put through to who ever deals with our finance.  Poor line, kept us hanging on for ages, whilst the initial caller put us through to someone else and then they wanted to know our address yet they'd called us.   took note of the number and did google search - revealed company is westcot and led to this web site
