I am not sure she ever put a positive spin on this, let alone gave any hopes.She and others saw this for what it was from day one and laid into the scheme. The false hopes were given out by those letters from the accountants and that last director, giving the impression professional valuations and accounts would be processed.We all thought something was going to happen but it did not.This was from one of the letters

"Naturally, as soon as it becomes possible, we will advise members as to next steps regarding the availability of transfers."

That gave false hopes if nothing else.

I went up to Blackburn posing as a renter, was made very welcome, showed around about 4 different size Pods

Back on page 33 of this thread, Mrs Brooks told a member to try and transfer but suggested it would be futile and suggested the crooks would disappear into the hills. Hope the authorities are scouring those hills.

Time will tell, but why weren't the police called as soon as the new "director" and accountant were appointed to sort this out? To my mind their appointment bought time for the scammers, though perhaps not deliberately.

you obviously are new to this site . the new director  and the new accountant had no connection with the scheme operators.

I wonder what the claims will be on the SIPPs, paid for by the honest adviser community.

No revelations really other than limited recourse to compensation for Capita Oak, as confirmed by Hargreaves Lansdown. I had hoped the whereabouts of the 33 million would be revealed.

Hardly a revelation that there is a limited recourse though was it not interesting to see this lead in to TW ...though we all knew it .....by the far the best yet and thanks to all involved. Well done.
