- Lol replies to another perspectiveMaybe the apartment you bought had a dodgy valuation done as appears to be the case with the Dylan Harvey ones, just like the Storefirst valuations. This all would have come out sooner if 'solicitors' hadn't silenced so many , so in a way good salesmen as you say.

- We replies to So where| 1 replyWe were told to keep an eye on European sourcing house Gibraltar , he's the uk business manager.
- Why replies to WeWould anyone in the UK have any investments or pensions linked to Gibraltar? Why would anyone deal with someone in Manchester that offers investments in Gibraltar? Perhaps Master Lees could comment, as I am sure he is watching.
- Cribbage Tom@Another perspective: Of course Store First offered you a very good price. The company runs on new investors' money. They don't care about what they get from customers - they don't need it. They have a huge operation which advertises to investors, but they barely advertise to consumers at all. I Googled "self storage" and Store First doesn't appear on the first five pages, despite claiming to be one of the leading firms in the country. Doesn't that strike you as odd? How many other customers did you see when you went to drop off your goods?
There are two incorrect assumptions in your posts:
1) If the scheme is actually selling goods, it can't be a Ponzi scheme. Not true. Most Ponzi schemes have a real good at the heart of them. In the original Ponzi scheme it was arbitrage on postage stamps, and it was a genuinely profitable business for quite a while - it was when it became unprofitable that the trouble started. Modern Ponzi schemes often sell self-help books or toiletries or play the forex markets. But they don't make enough money to pay returns to investors, so they use new investors' money instead.
2) If it was a scam then the police would have shut it down already. Again, not the case. The wheels of justice grind very slowly in these cases. And it's exceptionally difficult to prove that a Ponzi scheme is one until it collapses. The police put more priority on crimes that are easier to prove and where the victims' participation was unwilling - murder, rape, muggings, that kind of thing. Ponzi schemes are usually left to run until they collapse. - Portia of our Chambers replies to Npr| 20 repliesThe NPR information was:

- Portia of our Chambers replies to NPR| 17 repliesYes, Foxy was the original director then Stu replaced him.
The domain name portiafinancial.com was originally registered by Stu.
Actually a bit of "historical whois" research tells us a lot.
Stu registered a domain name firstchoiceformations.org
which he transferred to a company called First Choice Formations Ltd.
Now, he isn't in the business of buying and selling domain names so he must know them and registered it for a favour.
First Choice Formations specialises in offshore company formations in places like BVI.
You will find their web site here:

They are also associated with:
Octopus International Business Services Ltd
13/1 Line Wall Road
Gibraltar
It would be fair to assume that they are the people who have set up his offshore companies. - Cribbage Tom| 11 repliesAnother thing for Another Perspective. If you'd come on here and said you were happy with the storage service and the price, no-one would dispute that (although it would be of little interest to the forum). But your last post makes it sound like the best thing since sliced bread, a game-changing, disruptive innovator that is shaking up the greedy self storage cartel.
Well that being the case, people should be absolutely falling over themselves to buy a piece of this wonderful business and the people here should have no problem selling the storage pods that are currently stuck in their pension fund. Venture capitalists, institutional pension funds, hedge funds, they'd all be beating down the doors of the posters in this thread to buy their storage pods. So why can't they sell them? Why are the pods that have gone up on auction sites attracting zero bidders even at a massive discount to par? You're the business expert, you tell us. - PLEASE BE CAREFUL replies to Cribbage TomWhat a great posting from someone who really does care.

- craig| 3 replieshiya all, just thought i would inform you that SF has opened up a little office, they phoned me today and were really excited at their brand new initiative. They are called S1 and they were just calling me to ask me how i was enjoying my Investment with them! I nearly FUZZING CHOKED, when i calmly informed him of my total and never ending total lack of return, he did not believe me and told me if i rang SF they would be more than happy to tell me how much i had realized. I will not bother you with the result of the call to SF, only to say that the few weeks that three of my pods were rented out they kept the money to pay off some of the Ground rent i owe them from the past three and a half years. Goodnight my friends, i need to sleep!
