Voidable or not, the end is inevitable. The rent has gone and there is no realistic chance of a resale of any pods. The money as you rightly point out has moved on to the next gig.

The money he stole from residential investors was ploughed in to building his so called business centres, money from the bussiness centres was used for the storage pods and now the storage pod money is being used for a hotel. (lol at CLB Coopers...who cant spell residential!!)

Don't think they were bent, just negligent.  But the bottom line is the same whichever way you look at it.  Their silence and refusal to cooperate since makes it worse.  They were chosen by the ITSL/Capita Oak scammers because they were naive and wouldn't ask too many questions so they could be coerced into the scam.  No experienced professional firm of solicitors would have touched it with a barge pole.  Also, I believe the pods were purchased in the name of ITSL and not Capita Oak so if I am right that will be the end of Metis Law.  A complaint has gone in to the SRA.

So what happens next?

The promised set of accounts for the members would be a good start, then valuations of the storage units and details of the rental income and where it is or has been going. Next, each member should get a personal valuation statement. Surely to God, that is not asking too much?????????
After that? I suppose it depends on what the accounts and valuations show.

It is not asking too much at all - in the "normal" world.  But the fraudsters have got to try to cook up some very clever stories to explain various aspects of the Capita Oak scam which will inevitably be exposed by the accounts.  And this is why they are delaying issuing the accounts.  If they had had nothing to hide, the accounts would have been out within a couple of days.  Downs says he has done the accounts and is just waiting for Chant to sign them off.  A reasonable person would have ensured the accounts were published before xmas to give the victims at least some peace of mind.  But I am afraid we are not dealing with reasonable people.

The connection: Roger was a director of Paul's company P.H.C. PROPERTIES LIMITED, whose accountant was Brian Downs.

Come to think of it, Downs has gone awfully quiet.....

Monika was a director of Monosec Ltd, a company associated with SCC.

I believe she might be living in Knutsford now.

While we are at it, two of SCC's companies, Barncroft Associates and Portia Financial are registered at an address near Preston belonging to Advantage Accountants of Southport, the same accountancy firm that is connected with other pension liberation schemes. Keith Ryder who ran it seems to have done a runner to Scotland.

Was this the firm that paid the 5% cashbacks that will now be taxed at 55%. Cracking accountant!

Complain to who???? The police have no interest in solving crime. The professional institutes have no interest in going after naughty members. The regulators are only interested in retiring on  fat gold plated pensions with  knighthoods. The press is more interested in Kim Kardashian's ever increasing backside than investigating fraud.

There is a regulatory body for accountants to complain to, and in certain cases accountant's have been struck off.

They all need to be shut down and pay back every penny..with interest

Angie you say Downs has gone quiet. I thought he had dione his job with doing the accounts and now down to directors to do their job now and release them.
