The decision was against Imperial Trustees, not Store First. It is up to Imperial to pay the transfer value. There is no cash, it seems, to pay it and so pods would need to be sold. Because of the awful terms and conditions that Imperial and their lawyers agreed to, there is no contractual liability on Store First to buy back the pods to make funds available at the moment, if ever. Imperial must therefore put pods on the market themselves to get money for this transfer, and others, and get money in for all those that want to retire in the near future. It is not going to happen.
Store First could return the missing rent to help pay the transfer, but that won't happen either.

I suspect Downs is just the fall guy and maybe even believed that Chant would release the accounts.

Great work Strings.  I have Payne's and Dunlop's home addresses and several of Perkins business address plus his daughter's address (Atlas Pensions).  And of course Ward's.

There are so many Store Firsts registered at companies house, how would you know which accounts to check?

Net worth is 4,561,500 pounds. Accounts are not overdue. 5.5 million pounds paid out in dividends which is almost all the net profits after tax taken out.

That is a very charitable view. Has anyone heard from Downs recently? Guess we have to wait for the valuations, but I bet a reason will be found to delay those too.

He was behind the removal from what I have heard. Better to put Chant as a director.

I didn't resign.  Payne removed me as soon as he found out I was a director, but meanwhile I removed RP Medplant as sponsoring employer and also ITSL as administrator since both appointments were invalid and fraudulent i.e. they did not ever act with any intention of administering a pension scheme intended to provide income in retirement but a vehicle for the fraudsters to make fees, commissions and back-handers out of.

I was asked by various parties to give Downs the benefit of the doubt.  However, despite assuring every member who contacted him that the accounts were finished and only waiting on a signature from Chant, there is no news and now neither Downs nor Chant is responding to communications/questions as to where the accounts are or when they will be published.  The Ombudsman's deadline was a week ago and still not a word from ITSL, their accountant or solicitor.  So basically, nothing has changed despite all the promises and assurances.  No accounts.  No valuations.  No news.  No transfer.  No cooperation or constructive communication.  Does this inspire any confidence at all?  Or does it merely confirm that Downs has now realised what we all knew already.
