Sorry people who have been on here and stated BTCS are genuine. If you're genuine why are your callers so unprofessional?

And for the posts on here from people who claim it worked for their business, how do we know that they're even genuine? Coincidence how they appeared here a day or two after somebody from BTCS had posted those links.

And besides, If these people on here are genuine and think BTCS have provided an excellent service, why have they visited this website?

Sorry BTCS, nice try but you don't fool me.

HOW STRANGE after his terrible company find the negative (and true) comments on this site - they start posting their own positive ones! Let me ask this: why would ANYONE visit a site called 'WHO CALLS ME' to leave a positive review?!?! So - they are not only lying to people on the phone, they are now lying on this site as well. I get many calls from this company, always the same, always rude and impatient. Keep their number near your phone so you know beforehand and give them a taste of their own medicine.

exactly similar story become to our company. We are based in Rep. of Ireland.a man rang as from London offering a great deal. AVOID THIS NUMBER 00441229814700

Had these guys call me a couple of days ago, offering a one time only deal which amounted to over a £1000 a year !!! for search engine optimumisation for my website, even though my site already shows high up in searches in my area!
could not get them off the line  even after telling the guy that i NEVER make snap decisions over the phone !! (i was Trying not to be rude)
he then preceeded to tell me i had wasted over 30 minutes of his time and he must sign someone up in my area and stated that he did not want me to miss out   as he could only offer one company in my area this deal and he did not want it to be any of my competitors ! he then continued for another 15 minutes
going through everything again asking why i could not understand it was such a good deal, and WOULD result in more work for me, i told him i had completely understood from the start and would not part with any money over the phone  , after i had taken his name, he told me that he would call me back in a couple of days. upon this i Googled the number and came up with this site. needless to say i have not answered to this number since
AVOID !!! DO NOT PART WITH ANY MONEY OVER THE PHONE !!!! SCAMMERS!!!!

I was Phoned yesterday by BT Customer Street and am expecting a phone call back today to go ahead with the package. 375e setup fee and 75e per month, it seemed to be a great idea at the time (and would save me alot of money in advertising costs) but after reading this blog i dont know if i should be committing to this package at all! is there anyone that has gone ahead with the package? and how well did it work? can anyone confirm that they are part of BT?

Pat don't do it. There are enough free listing websites on the Internet that do the job for you. The best I have come across was http://www.freeindex.co.uk/. They get your business on the first page of Google and never demand any sort of payment.

Anybody who rings you on the phone selling a product are not genuine. They should write and NEVER EVER give bank details over the phone.

These guys saw an advert of mine at musicteachers.co.uk and saw that I'm a drum teacher. The caller started claiming they had loads of drum pupils in my area that they wanted to put me in contact with. I told them I don't like a third party when teaching pupils. The lady got very pushy and started trying to belittle me that I didn't have my own website, I then hung up. I find it disgraceful that they are picking on some of the most financially challenged and vunerable people in society in music teachers.

    customer street employee
hi all. i would like to say that i am very proud to work for bt customer street. i have worked for quite a few different sales companies in my time, and i have found bt customer street the most professional by far.
firstly for anyone who doesnt believe that customer street is part of bt, please visit http://www.btcustomerstreet.com or even phone up bt's customer services, and ask them if customer street is part of bt, and they will be happy to confirm that bt bought us out for 20million
for anyone, who doesnt believe our claims that we dominate the search engines for most trade specific searches, that is pretty easy to prove. just go to google and look!! for excample, type in landscaper birmingham. you will see that ufindus.com is there twice, smilelocal.com is there, and so is one of our clients websites too. if you dont believe that a website has been built by us, go to the very bottom of the website, and it will tell you that it is listed on one of our directories.
yes ufindus.com was not the best directory a few years ago and did not have a great reputaion for providing what it had promised, but things have drastically changed. they had to for us to be able to trade as part of bt!!
also for anyone who is already part of btcustomer street, and is not overly happy with the results, please please give the customer support team a call (08453380500) and they will be able to help you. they will change the key phrases on your website, change the wording on your profile, whatever it takes really to try and improve your exposure. if you dont do anything, things will stay as they are, but if you do change them, things might improve.
finally, the only reason we can tell people that we can get them up on the first page of google, is that our directories are already there!!!!! we are no longer making promises we cant keep

A person from number 01524543400 called me on my mobile as I drove home today. Without identifying themselves they asked if I was the business owner? I replied "Which business?" Rudely I was asked how many businesses I have!!  -My reply was "I Beg your pardon & who is speaking please??" The caller then made out that they had mis-dialed and required central heating!!! then hung up immediately.  I was going to call them back for their details and report them to OFFCOM.  Very rude person and uncalled for practice. I hope they have to pay for all their outgoing calls. If they call again and you have the time may I suggest purposely listening to all they have to say - then remind them to Google their number themselves, read all that is here then call you back for your hard earned cash - Make them pay for the calls and their time trying BUT NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. Before you do that you MUST ditch the call, phone your family, or anyone else, and just say hi.

    Angry Plumber
Had a call from this number, very nice girl asked if I do bathroom suites. When I asked her did she want one fitting she said she was in a nearby postcode area, so I asked for her address to call and give her a quote. Lots of noise in the background like a call centre,I asked her address again and she called me rude and said she didn't like my attitude. So I said thanks and goodbye. I suspected she didn't really want to give me any work but wanted me to pay for some service or other and it seems I may have been right.

    Sacha Blake. Business Blake Plastering
My Mobile rang twice (number: 01524 543400) with the same number, upon answering there was no answer. On the third ring same number, I spoke with a rude woman asking for Blake Plastering (my Business) I replied: 'Yes it is, what can I do for you?' Woman just kept asking 'Is this Blake Plastering', to which my reply was 'Yes.' Finally the woman said: 'Do you always answer your phone in this manner?' My reply: 'I have had alot of prank calls from company's trying to sell me marketing.'
Woman said: 'Were lookign for a plasterer, and anyway I'll take my business elsewhere.'
So I thought hang on...lets google this number and behold lots of other comments from other Trades saming more or less same thing.
Anyway...the jist of this is: this number: 01524 543400 is a company that will waste your time and money. Do not ANSWER this type of call / number.

I just got phoned by them today.  I run a small business and they asked for the business name.  Northern accent (sounded like Lancashire).  The call was to my mobile and was quickly disconnected.  This may have been because it was a very flakey signal.  I get a fair number of these in spite of having all my numbers registered with TPS.  It reminded me of the style of a company called "Ufindus" that started hiding its name in amongst another name about a year back.  I don't mind paying for advertising space but not with a bunch of cowboys who don't even honour the TPS.
