I have previously been contacted by this number also who have sent text messages to the switchboard in the work,keep calling my mobile and contact my parents telephone and they hang up the fone as I don't live there anymore.  Also I contacted them and arranged to make a payment thats when I received the text message at my work then i received another text on my mobile to contact them when I had already spoken to them and asked not to contact me again.  On the other hand when I have spoken to anyone on the fone they have been polite and very helpful.  Sorry this is long winded.

Do not know what person?  No names were mentioned.

Hopefully they are after someone with a similar name & someone else will contact them so they wont bother me again.

I agree with Bob to an extent, however my debt is based on interest and it is for £3.74 and they are harrassing me telling me they will come to my door, this interest was added on 3 months after I cleared the balance so I am refusing to pay it out of principle!

they ring noon night and day even up to 9pm had enough of them yes we have an outstanding debt of 200 pound but were paying 20 pound per month but they keep ringing asking us to pay more i dont bother answering now.

You are wrong,I have been getting letters from Citigroup with whom I once had a credit card paid in full,no contact with them now for 3 years but 11 months ago a statement came from them owing nothing then every month since with starting as an insurance cover £70-00  and no matter what I say they keep sending them and the ironic thing is the name and address are the same apart  one tiny detail. they are using the name I was born with not the shortened version I always use,I am also 62 years old so I'm thinking that the biggest majority are pensioners being preyed upon.Thank goodness for sites like these...

Just had a call from this number, it was an automated message saying 'this is a message for ****** a makenzie Hall would like to speak to you press one to speak to them, press 2 for a call back and press 3 if this person is unknown to you. Not sure what its about but it wasn't me they asked for?!

Just received a call on a brand new business line from them.  Clearly the fact that it went to voicemail doesn't bother them, I have a nice recording of their 'press 2, press 3' etc.  Unfortunately my unobtainable message was playing out when their system was asking for whatever poor sod they are chasing.  Quite clearly their details are incorrect but by the looks of the above that won't stop them.  I look forward to them ringing back, I do hope they enjoy our music on hold.

This number keeps calling and leaving a message for the previous owner of this phone they have been told he no longer owns this phone, and yet an automated message keeps calling

Report him to the police - record his call first if you can to take with you. It is illegal to make this type of call to anyoone. You have nothing to lose.

Sadly now I've found out who they are I wished I'd have rushed to answer.

I don't owe them any money but I absolutely love a good conversation with people who have no idea how to be polite or professional in their conversations with the public.

Previous tenants at this property seem to take out oodles of unsecured finance and then run away....so I'm hopeful they'll call again and I can talk about the merits of giving themselves fake Cluedo-esque names like mr white, mr brown and mr green to try to extort money on unenforceable debts that are usually statute barred.

If you do owe somebody some money, check that it isn't statute barred. If it is (and you haven't made a payment or acknowledged the debt for 6 years in england and wales) they can't chase it via the courts.

There are a whole host of fun 'prove it' and 'statute barred' letters one can send to get rid of these people on moneysavingexpert.com. I don't owe anyone any money but I still don't approve of their methods.

So, of course, as usual I ignore spam calls from antisocial inferior failed morons such as these wrong'uns, thereby using up their resources and making them repeatedly keep phoning over and over again. Having adopted this policy for most of the last 20 years I estimate that I've now wasted several thousand pounds worth of their time considering all the costs they've got paying their stupid subhuman slaves in third world countries or perhaps minimum wage saddos in poor parts of UK. I have been reading all of the messages.  I keep getting calls from this number, but I never answer numbers I do not know or look suspicious.  I keep getting messages left on my answerphone.  I have a question though.  I do not owe any money to anyone, at least not to my knowledge, so how have they got my number?

Been reading this with interest. Got home from work to find a missed call from this number. I don't have debts, I don't even have credit, purely a cash person. However, the previous owner of my ex directory, TPS registered phone number did so I presume it's her they are after.

Now, if they would like to call me again we can have a very interesting conversation as I work for Trading Standards in a town in the North West of England.

How the hell do these morons get home and mobile numbers they ring most days and its realy peeing meoff hope they do send someone round to my door cos it'll be the last thing they do .
