Dont agree with bob not all people with debt dont just not pay it some people genuinely cant pay because of losing jobs, it makes me sick to death that people like u who have probably no credit or debts and are just perfect blaming ordinary people most with debts that couldnt be helped. Try to blame the government and politicians who bleed this country dry for their own gain thats who need to be blamed

If businesses DIDNT throw money at people who cannot afford to repay it and then DOUBLE or QUADRUPLE the amount that they need to pay back then we would not have a credit crunch.

My nephew we 6.99 over drawn with NATWEST and they charged him 500£ INTEREST because he could not afford to put the account back in credit and THEY are STILL charging fees and interest.

I've never had any debt in my life, yet these idiots call and get all aggressive, telling me I am not who I say I am and that they will send someone round to take my goods if I do not pay.
From what I read, I am not the only one. They need to get their facts right before calling people.
I looked on the consumeractiongroup.co.uk website too. Trading Standards have had years of complaints about this lot, yet they continue to use the same tactics.
About time all this crap was stopped.

Keep getting calls from this number, I never answer it though. Family and friends have a 'code' to use when calling, so I know it's them before I answer. I have no debts. These calls only started recently when I updated my account details for my Lloyds credit card, so I hold them accountable for these annoying calls

I get regular calls from this company. A number of years ago a partner got us into a lot of debt, and I still get chased for them. My advice is this;
Ignore the calls if you can. Store the name (or a code name) in your phone so that you can see it is them and then just ignore it.
If you don't owe any money, you have nothing to worry about.
If you do owe money, speak to them once and ask them to send the details in the post as you do not discuss personal finance matters on the phone. Do not confirm or give them ANY details. If it is you they are after, they will already have your details and so should be able to write to you. Thereafter ignore their calls.
If you do owe some money try and arrange a payment plan with them. If they won't accept it, tell them to take it to court as the court will look at your income and outgoings and order that they accept a payment plan.
However, I have never ever known any of these debt collection companies to take any debt to court, as the courts are actually very fair and will only order you to pay what you can afford. This is why they won't take you to court, they would rather try and bully you into making larger payments directly to them.
Just insist that everything is done in writing, that way you have a record of it all, and you can happily continue to ignore their calls.

I keep getting calls from this company they let it ring a couple of times then leave a message with a phone number and reference number for somebody who i have never heard of to ring them back .Best thing to do is report them financial standards authority

They keep calling my number at various times, I never answer the phone to anyone except family so they're wasting their time. My number is TPS registered.

They are also using an 01793 number (Swindon), a Google search for the number reveals Mackenzie Hall. So these cretins are using fake numbers/STD codes, as they are not Swindon-based

01793467312 just called again but I didn't answer. A Google search flags up as Mackenzie Hall, this is NOT a Swindon number

Just don't give them your address then they can't talk to you as you can't pass their security! They still try and call though, they are fu*king stupid!
