I think this website is being infiltrated by certain individuals who are trying to distract us from our aim.that is to clear up how business rate firms act.

I appointed CVS on a property portfolio and they have saved me nearly £150k in rates payable. I know the sales methods can be a tad keen at the outset but they do achieve results. That said I met a new salesman recently to sign up a property in Warrington and he was very professional, not pushy and with that I signed up another site. A huge improvement to that of 2008 when we first used them.

People are saying you can do it yourselves, yes you can but you can also appoint some really big commercial property agents such as Knight Frank etc. The trouble with those type of companies you don't benefit from no win and no fee which CVS offers. I simply haven't the time to look into Business Rates myself and as CVS do a good enough job themselves I am not inclined to anyway.

I am genuine and I am happy to recommend CVS to anyone. My email for a reference is [removed at the request of the author]

This poster must be at the top of the stupid tree.  Why would someone who is so thrilled with the work they have done for "him" suddenly decide to look up a site like this one to post a review? Particularly as this is not a review site. Doh!!

That`s the same with LSH as well they wanted £1500 from me to undertake this task. I don't really understand what the issue is with CVS and I felt inclined to state they have done me a good service with minimal hassle. I appreciate the opinions on here but the majority of comments have been based around that you can undertake the rating exercise yourself, which is true but a lot of commercial agents also provide this service including the one you have mentioned. What is the difference between the two?

Why would you come back to this site to see if your original post had been commented on?

The vast majority of posts on this thread have found this Company to be rude, unprofessional, and totally obnoxious. One poster even took them to Court, and was awarded Judgement.

Your reason for looking them up on this site is extremely unlikely.

The more positive comments you make, the more likely that you are in some way connected to these jokers.

So, what brought you on here?  Who told you about the 6 pages of negative posts (excluding the fake positives)?  If you are such a professional outfit then why the connections with some of the biggest business rate scammers in the country?  If you are such a professional company why do the words "rude" "arrogant" "pushy" appear in the posts with such regularity?  Just a few thoughts.

Yes Steve, it would be interesting to know your thoughts on the points nan has raised. In addition you might want to try and justify Anthony Dardis' connection with Oldfields and Strattons and explain why someone should trust a company who employs a major shareholder/director who has previously served a prison sentence in relation to a multi million pound business rate fraud.

Contrary to the previous message from nan I have no problem you coming onto this message board to defend your company.however I do have problems with your company.one as explained by the previous message there are links to strattons and oldfields.the major shareholder and employees.two you persistently contact potential clients time and time again stating they have a good chance of getting a reduction without even knowing that.thirdly when you fail with an appeal and a reduction is obtained by a third party you try to claim a fee.and finally your fee structure is absolutely immoral.fifty per cent of each years savings.firms like lambert smith Hampton ,Gerald eve, colliers, wetheralls, cbre etc charge nothing like this.

Just  to set the record straight, I have no problem with him coming onto this thread.  In fact, I quite enjoy it when these people try to justify their existence.  That is why I asked my questions.  Having seen your posts on other similar threads I am aware that you are working very hard to stop these disgusting business and private rate reduction scammers and wish you every success.
