Hi guys,

I worked for this outfit for 2 days and left appalled. They claim to have offices abroad. What they are really doing is outsourcing they're customer services abroad to a company that they use on a pay as you go basis. They're international call staff are all based on Marsland rd, Sale and is full of teenage chav's who don't have the first clue about internet marketing or how to sell over the phone. Unfortunetly all these companies that call promising to get you on the 1st page of google are the same and there are a lot of them in the Manchester area, Matchmaker, Lavora Web, etc. Lavora Web have just opened up a new call centre in Stockport under another name hmmm I wonder why?

In fact I was talking to someone at 1 of these companies the other day and he told me one of there clients had spent £1400 over the year for £11 worth of clicks!

If you wan't to be on the 1st page of google you would be much better off opening an adwords account yourself where you would get a $50+ voucher which would enable to get on the first page of google and learn how to do it yourself

We unfortunately fell prey to this awful Company, we cancelled our contract with them, in writing and they still took in excess of £1200 from our bank account, when we challenged this we too, like everyone else who has complained, got verbal abuse and threats, quite shocking really.
We have taken the matter to court, all letters have been ignored.
We have contacted BBC Watchdog and also the Ttrading Standards who need everyone who has been effected to contact them, if you call them we can stop this in it's tracks.
We all work incredibly hard for our money, why should someone who is quite obviously a con man get away with this?
make those calls NOW and get it stopped.

Well, what can I say?? this company is an absolute waste of time and money.. you may as well take a flame to your money and be done with it. It's a lot quicker process and less hassle than dealing with this company.... but produces the same result!!!

Called my credit card, explained and they sorted every payment, because they can't defend the process, so call your credit card company today. I think they have set up again so check the limited company, if they are limited. So they are either www.chrome-media-eu.com

Oh dear, I am obviously having exactly the same experience. Bollocks!! I,ve now been on hold to them for nearly an hour, no-one's answering, and the website gives you no information at all. I have a tiny business and I was sucked into using them, it got me NO extra clients and now I want to cancel, and don't seem to be able to. Well I'll cancel the payment for sure, hope that does the trick.

Best thing to do is cancel the card that they are taking payments from and send them a cancellation letter by post and email. They will probably threaten you will court action, debt collectors etc to try and get further payments but it's all empty threats which doesn't amount to anything so don't let them scare you.

Obviously the multitude of complaints have gotten so bad that poor little Jamie has shut up shop. Just go to www.dotcomchrome,com and try to click on any of the "international offices" - they've disappeared!

I assume all of the dotcom chrome customers are now left stranded, unable to contact DCC at all, while DCC continue to drain money out of their accounts every month.

But isn't Jamie resourceful!

He's just bought registered a new business name, bought new domains, and transferred the entire scam operation over to Dotcom Platinum at http://www.chrome-media-eu.com/

got to admit i don't like jamie either but i feel i need to warn every1 who got hit just like me that dotcom chrome/platinum have just taken my company to court and got a winding up order for just under £700 (5 months worth of payments)
i did like other have done in this thread and cancelled my card and cancelled by email but 'apparently' in a court of law an email isn't a letter and there so called compliance call backed that up! i had built my business up from scratch 14 years ago and cant believe they managed to shut it down in just 9 weeks and all because i thought they had nothing on me.

PLEASE BEWARE AND DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU. just send a letter in the post via recorded delivery and you will be covered. this way that can only take one more payment!

Or better still - just DON'T SIGN UP WITH DOTCOM CHROME or DOTCOM PLATINUM IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!

The [***] little scum bag mcdonut of dotcom has beenj taken to court many times,i took him and was awarded £700 comp' he has of yet not payed it.
I have got a private detective on the case now so i can get more information on this thief then let the courts deal with him not his company.
I will post all details when i start proceedings.

Oh what a rip-off, Chrome media!!! Scammers and [***] artists is all they are. I got sucked in by smooth fast-talking Mike (if that's his real name) who claimed he was from Google and would send me the 5000 odd hits they were getting every month to my business email. What did I get? Nothing, but that's not surprising considering the number of complaints others have made. I can't believe the law have not shut them down and thrown these [***] in the slammer! If you read this Mike or whatever your real name is, I am telling you now, "You are a bloody liar." Want to sue me? Go ahead, make my day!
I have contacted my bank and stopped payment and also contacted my Office Of Fair Trading. It seems pointless contacting Google, they alreay know about these scammers who claim to be from Google and seem to care little about it. To me that amkes Google just as bad. Do they not care that their company's reputation is being compromised by these people? Google could shut them down in a flash if they wanted but maybe Google are making money from it so why cut your own throat?
