- Ian replies to david@dotcomchromeMost amusing, an explanantion of prejudice of proceedings might have helped keep him out of the courts.I only came here to find out who this moron Jamie is after a friend told me he had been slapped down in the courts for associating himself with Google. I have lived in Hale for nearly fifty years and nobody in the Altrincham and Hale business community has heard of him. My friend has pointed him out and the Wall St address is obviously virtual space because he is scruffy and shambolic to behold. His web address is held by someone in an ex social housing scheme property near Urmston. You could not make this stuff up. Entertaining for me and very sad for those ripped off by this pleb.No consolation for those whose accounts have been dipped but he will get his soon enough. They always do.
- IanThis months keywords to assure the law courts of continued good business. Oh, and Pannone LLP are keen to know about our heroes dropping of their name when making threats to his disgruntled ex-clientele. JAMIE MCDOUGALL GOOGLE CHROME COURTS
- Ian| 1 replyBe a "Google expert" just like Jamie. Tap his name in and just click on the links that include such words as scam and fraud. Watch as the correct Jamie McDougall floats to the top of a Google search like something else floats....

http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.dotcomchrome.com - Misled and Google should be suing again| 1 replyHi, I got stung last Wednesday evening. I had a call in Australia, he actually names a few people I knew and said that he had a deal not to be missed. I took the offer thinking it would be only for one month and after checking their website and receiving a followup email thought to proceed. But minutes after parting with my credit card details I know I had a odd feeling it could all be false. I have since tried to email, I have searched on the web for any optimisation services they said they would provide to my company. Nothing has transpired and so I rang my bank and cancelled my credit card. My big lesson in this is never part with your credit card details over the phone unless you know who you are talking to. They claimed to be almost one and the same as Google and so I was impressed and scammed. Weird thing is that now I feel to blame for trusting them and doing what my bank said you should never do. Once bitten and never again. Also I want to thank the group here for their comments and addresses provided. I have made formal complaints to the UK and the Australian consumer watchdogs and am now also going to send details of the misleading advertising to Google who may want to sue them again. One other thought is why don't we as a group find a lawyer and make a class action against them and get the main director and his sales person a said 'Alan Cooper' picked up by the authorities and charged.

- Misled replies to IanHi thanks for that yes found those articles and they will go nicely in my complaint package about this company.
- Misled replies to easyYes I'm interested to report my experience with them and think it is about time people stood up and together to correct and not let fraudulent advertising companies like this one get away with it. The must be a lawyer in the UK, who would bring a class action against them.
- alan replies to Misled and Google should be suing againIf you provide your info we can prove that we read the followong sentance to you:

Dotcom Chrome's got carpenter by the Googles
BY NICK SOMMERLAD ON FEBRUARY 16, 2011 11:00 PM IN ONLINE SCAMS
Another horror story from the "we can get you on the first page of Google" scam by Dotcom Chrome.
A carpentry firm in Perth, Western Australia, was cold-called and offered a trial. "After getting nothing from the adverts we cancelled," said Drunella Wishart, from Cams Carpentry.
"But Dotcom Chrome continued to take money. We cancelled our credit card and that's when the harassment began. We got an email saying 'we hope you like your new ad'.
"We now have a Google ad that says, 'Will we steal your money from you? Only one way to find out'."
Dotcom Chrome, run by Jamie McDougall, from Altrincham, Cheshire, has agreed in the High Court not to pass itself off as Google or claim they can guarantee search positions.

BY NICK SOMMERLAD ON FEBRUARY 2, 2011 11:00 PM IN ONLINE SCAMS
Another AdWords reseller Google's taken to court is Dotcom Chrome, whose sideline is dishing out outrageous abuse to former clients.
Magician Tim Ellis says he was cold-called by this lot who promised him "unlimited clicks" advertising on the front page of Google with a one-month free trial. Believing he was talking to Google, Tim agreed.
But he was charged £125 for the first month, was told his preferred keywords were "poor choices" and the clicks were far from unlimited.
When he canceled the deal, Dotcom Chrome emailed him, stating: "I believe our salesman told you every day for one month, did you take this to mean 24/7? If so, perhaps you should have queried it at the time because it could mean once per day for one month."
Then it got abusive: "Instead of dressing up like a clown all year for little or no money why don't you run AdWords campaigns for people and make some good returns as our bosses obviously do?"
Finally to outright lies: "Is this the same Tim Ellis that was sued for touching my friend's auntie's child at a party?
"I think I may need to post something online just in case it is and get the post on page 1 of Google under your company name. Better safe than sorry and all that."
As complaints like Tim's grew on whocallsme.com, administrators found a string of positive reviews mysteriously posted under different names but from the same computer.
Now both Dotcom Chrome and boss Jamie McDougall, 25, of Altrincham, Cheshire, have agreed in the High Court not to pass themselves off as Google or claim they can guarantee search positions. They have also agreed to pay Google £30,000 in costs.
McDougall's now trading as Dotcom Platimum, with a website registered by former Dotcom Chrome director Zac Leonard, 24 (below): http://blogs.mirror.co.uk/investigations/css/Zac-Leonard.jpg- Caller: Dotcom Chrome Scam
- jamie replies to A good guyI assume "good guy"
that you were smart enough to post this from a different ip than you used where you used my name and started playing a very dangerous game talking about names that could land you in serious hot water and you deserve everything you get if something comes back at you for this
Google may investigate g media all they wish, if you pay the money you can apply to the courts to read the order we signed with Google, it specifically states that we can sell adwords and guarantee page 1 in the sponsored links, just not the natural listings. We run a tight ship, and as for swapping clients hahaha, you really are just sat around playing the guessing game aren't you hahahahaha. Thats what I like about you lot, you just cant get enough of us can you, jealous bitter no marks that you are
My earlier posts when advising you to meet like a man instead of blogging like a girl included the words: I dont name drop, throughout my entire war of words with you idiots there has never been one name mentioned. I'm not stupid, you evidently are and believe me, il be spending money getting hold of the ip address that posted names on this site and il be making sure the right people find out who you are and what you posted
