Someone calling on behalf of BT, trying to get me to switch

Just had a call from this number and i heard someone talking. I said hello but they went silent. I said hello again and as there was still no response i hung up. I don't want to call it back in case it charges me a ton for it. Not sure who it is or how to get them to stop calling me!!!

Second call today, from BT(?).

This number has rang me since Monday.. Answered call 2day laughed and hung up..

Got a call from this number didn't answer it so dialed 1471 to get number then saw it was dodgy

Been getting these calls for the last few weeks,bloomin annoying,and as for a previous post saying its how to push their business ,i'm afraid i disagree,pestering people is a form of bullying,and should NOT be tolerated.

Got a call from this number asking to speak to the bill payer, I said I was the bill payer and he introduced himself as tom but then he started laughing and hung up. ......I think tom is an ass. Whoever they are they are unprofessional and obviously scammers.

Had a message left on my phone; office noise in the background, then a cough and then nothing. I now never answer my landline before 9pm!!

If it's BT I don't know why they're calling me to switch, they should see the number I'm calling on is a VoIP number!

... broadband over VoIP... over broadband. Nope, not going to work.

Had a call from this number today.  When my wife said we were NOT interested in whatever he had to offer, he asked to speak to me - the account holder - hoping I would say yes....which I would NOT have!!!

keep getting calls from this number morning noon & night say hello but no reply absolute nusence

Have now had 2 calls from this number asking to speak to someone who doesn't live here, when I said they didn't live here they claimed to be from BT, I didn't give my name and hung up.

After a lot of searching it appears to be vodafone via their partner herotsc who runs the warrington call centre  if this is true its very bad that they do this to their own customers silent calls and no way of ringing them back is what expected of very salubrious organisations surely not vodafone?

Fed up with these people calling, they even had the Audacity to phone during CORONATION STREET.!!!!!

I have been clled on land line and mobile by this number, then ahd a text message saying, Hi Lisa ( my names not Lisa). I emailed you a few days ago about our business oppurtunitity. unfortunately the email address is incorrect. i hope we can have a 2 min conversation soon after which i will send you 4 documents to read that will tell you more about our exciting opportunity. you can call me any time. These numbers drive me crazy!!!!!!!!!!

This number is a big time-waster, like everyone else from CallMinder info as to 'who called;, when you ring back, it ring-tones four times and then goes 'unobtainable'.
Obviously highly dodgy do not speak to these people, nothing to do with BT, just a big scam....... the gullible beware
