The number is a BT call centre trying to get you to switch phone companies

Received call from this number and it was an actual person who asked for the bill payer. When I said in rather a sigh 'speaking' they hung up. Tried calling back and they answered but hung up and then on subsequent attempts it sounded like they just hang up and I got the message 'The other person has cleared'.

This number calls and when I answer rings off. Mostly calls around 19.00.

This person keeps ringing, not speaking and hanging up,

This number called 5 times and again today don't ever leave a message and if you call it back you are told you can't leave a message.

Several missed calls, don't leave any message. Have tried calling back to find out who it is and the line just disconnects. If I'm in and they call again I'll do my 'little kid' routine and 'ask them who they are cos my mummy says I've got to ask them cos there are lots of perverts on the phone'. The next question "are you a pervert" always brings the call to an end and somehow I don't seem to get any more calls. I wonder why 😀.

This num has phoned my landline a lot the last few weeks. Then hangs up when I answer. Are they from BT?

Number calls and never leaves a message. I know it is bogus as theses numbers always calls when I'm at work - no company I deal with would do that. I am registered with the TPS and ex directory - it means nothing and doesn't protect us at all it seems! After doing a bit of research online it seems to be a telemarketing company claiming to be both BT and Vodaphone - it isn't! Don't give them any details and report them!

If you are a customer of BT or Vodaphone they have taken their right under contract conditions to call you.     They have no way of knowing your timetable.
