Got a call from this number and when I answered the phone - silence. After reading other reports am goning to complain to their website.

you no what i hate most, i have read all the comments of users on here, about this caller
and i aggree with most .. but for those who work for them , that come on here telling us to listen to them etc...   saying there not all that bad... there [***] ... all i read is about  bt this bt that
guess what , i'm on cable , nothing to do with BT..... and i starting getting them .. lucky for me , i have a panosonic phone that call blocks ... BEST THING I EVER BOUGHT ...   all the numbers i barred get to call once, then BLOCKED   (they should never have my information) i'm NOTHING to do with them ... there poaching BAST****   TRYING TO GET CABLE PEOPLE TO SWITCH TO BT

there has to be a law against that , if there BT PARTNERS doesn't look good on BT does it ??????

i am ex-directory and not evan on bt,,, and they seem to be phoning me ..... only once though ... now they get a number busy tone, and directly cut off ... doesn't evan ring my end , lol you utter plonkers, get the message , if we wanted it , we would phone you for it..... (hero tsc <<<<--- load of tossers)  bet you carn't phone me again lol ...

got a call today, when they asked to speak to me - I asked what about - he replied about my internet service - I said no thank you - he was flustered and said goodbye!!

Have cold called three times, in spite of being told twice not to call my TPS-registered number.

Telemarketer said he was calling 'on behalf of BT'. When I asked him what company he worked for, he repeated that he was calling on behalf of BT - 'British Telecom'. I told him I already knew he wasn't from BT and to tell me which company he worked for. Only then did he admit to being Hero TSC. I told him I knew that already, and that I had already told his organisation twice not to call here. Told him to not call here again, and put the phone down.

Now making a complaint to the ICO.

Who do you complain to about these calls?

Just received a call from this number and person said they were calling from BT, told them I was not interested and the advisor would not accept this and was very aggressive. I had to tell her 5 times I was not interested before she told me it 'was my loss' and hung up on me!

Stated they were from BT wanted to know if I needed to update my Broadband, just a few questions and with 48 hrs it would be up and running.. Require account number, RED FLAG,I stated if you were from BT you would know this, hung up........DON'T GET SCAMMED ..

had a call twice today but went on answering machine ,left no message

fake company talking on behalf of bt rude and unprofessional

Have been called by this number a couple of times, both times, line was static, no one answered, so i hung up.

called my house today, we are x directory, asked my name and i responded with whos calling as they called me, they then asked me in a sterner voice "can i have your surname" i then told them politely not to call this house and that i was reporting them for cold calling. an x directory private number.

So why do your telemarketers lie to us? The woman who just called me said she was just ringing to ensure that we had the best BT package for our needs and that we weren't paying too much for our calls. I asked if she was trying to sell us something and she said "no". As the call progressed she started to try to persuade us to take BT Broadband.....not selling eh?

So, someone 'phones and, after saying it is not a sales call, tries to get us to take BT  Broadband?
We say, "Yes, we'll take it!.  Is BT Broadband free?  No? Have we bought it?  Yes?  Is this a sales call?  Well, acccording to your logic the answer is, "No. It's a customer care call".  Oh boy, I love that logic.

Said it was from BT partners? If I want to speak to BT I will call THEM - anyway too bloody expensive and confusing tarriffs.

Have chased this number down and it appears to be sales number for call centre in Billericay. Has been reported to offtel in accordance with laws and hopefully they will no cease.

I was called on this number too.I am ex-directory and suddenly had a surge of telesales calls mostly from BT / BT partners and several others that they sold my number to. I have complained and had my number 'supressed' but still the calls come through. This is telephone abuse from a suposedly 'respectable' telephone company. I would have liked to move to their infinity broadband service but they can keep it!!!

This caller rings my number every day, but never leaves a message.  I will not answer any caller if i dont know the number, all the same it is very annoying.

they call me all the time , always never leave message must me automated calller , and who ever picks up phone is answer by scammer or telepest , who knows dont trust them and dont give out any details. however the good the deal they try and sell you. Never surrender your information!!

Just reported the number to BT. Did not want to do anything. Just confirmed its a scam . Bt confirmed its a scam phone call they do not use third parties. dont give them any information.
