keep getting calls but I don't answer

I had a call from them today, didn't answer, wouldn't mind knowing who it is.

Decided to call it back - It's Optimax

not just short sighted hey Lee.

I have just had a call from them claiming to be Optimax the laser eye specialists claiming I called them from my mobile yesterday, complete nonsense. I'm confused by it, is it some kind of scam?

I entered an online competition to win free eye laser treatment and ever since, Optimax keep sending me mail and phoning me from the above number. I do not answer as I did not solicit information about it, merely wanted to win a competition which is probably bogus.

Oh that makes sense now, I requested a booklet from them last week

never answered as they've been calling me during working hours.  admittedly i requested info from them but specified that they should only call between 5pm and 7pm to avoid exactly this! needless to say it doesn't bode well for them getting my business....!

They keep calling me and I don't answer - have just had treatment last week with Ultralase - went really well!  May answer next time now I know who it is - just to stop them keep calling me....

I requested info by post about a month ago, they sent me an information pack but since then have also called and sent additional letters every other day. In my opinion it's way to excessive and has put me off using them completely.

I got a call several times today, i kept saying busy as the first time they rang i was in the bath, couldnt answer it, the 2nd-3rd n 4th times i sent a busy tone to them as i was in a lecture at Uni and my phone was on silent. Its annoying... i entered their competition and have recieved numerous letters in the last week and a half from them. Waste of a tree if you ask me.

its optimax and you probably should have read the T&C when enterning the comp which states they can use your details!

I got sick of their email spam (all I wanted was a brochure, and I only wanted that because they don't show any pricing on their website - their brochure doesn't show any either!) so I unsubscribed and as soon as I unsubscribed from the email spam, I started getting phone calls.

I'm definitely not going to use them now. I don't like being harassed.

I entered my details for three competitions to win free laser eye surgery that I had seen advertised.

2. Ultrolase
3. Optical Express

I would not go for laser eye treatment without first researching them so it's good to get a free consultation before I decide who to go with and if I win the competition then that will be an unexpected bonus. I am finding that Optimax has called me a few times without leaving a voice mail. Optical Express has been really good and Ultralase were ok too. So I get a few emails but I find the offers they send are really good. Fingers crossed!

Annonying as hell. No way for any group of professionals to act, or aspire to be associated with. Whatever your role if you choose to align yourself with this company, you are associated by the good and the bad.

Seeing as I did NOT sign up for any competition, or anything else, but continue to be harrassed by the company (and it is harrassment by any definition), I have taken the liberty to search for the said competition, and fill in the names and numbers of some of the local branch managers (ie store numbers). I have also attempted to put the number they are calling from lol and the free number...don't think it will work - whether they will have an automated filter, or just some non-brain dead staff - but the point is...anyone can put anyone elses random number into databases...

I had a missed call from this number today.  I won't be calling back.
