I absolutely love getting cold calls...!!! I just sit watching the display on my mobile ringing & ringing & ringing.... :P If you don't recognise the caller's number... don't answer. You are not obliged to answer. Why should you? Keep your mobile on vibrate... Never give out your home landline number as tthat's just begging to be assaulted with all manner of salesmen wanting to sell you the Moon... :) You could always scream down the phone!? Shout obscenities... but, where will that really get you??? Just don't answer!!! Anybody calls me... I'm shampooing my nasal hair, again.

If Optimax would only operate on both my eyes for free... I'd be in their surgical theatre in a flash to have my eyeballs heavily lasered. I'd love to have perfect sight... or, as close to it as any free Optimax surgery will allow? :P If I beg them nicely... What's the chance they'll fulfil my dream??? Two Hopes... Bob Hope & No Hope. :)

A businesswoman who says her eyes were damaged by laser treatment and the boss of a firm specialising in eye surgery are embroiled in litigation.

Sasha Rodoy, who campaigns for better regulation of eye surgery, and Optimax founder Russell Ambrose have sued each other and are fighting in Central London County Court.

Ms Rodoy, 61, of Muswell Hill, north London, says Mr Ambrose breached an agreement to pay for corrective treatment after her eyes were damaged as a result of Optimax laser surgery four years ago.

She is claiming damages of nearly £3,500.

Mr Ambrose wants an order preventing Ms Rodoy from behaving in a way "which amounts to harassment" and damages of up to £100,000 for loss of business.

    Both dispute each other's claims.

Detail of the dispute was outlined at a preliminary court hearing and a trial is expected to take place later this year.

    ABOUT OPTIMAX LASER EYE SURGERY:

Ultralase laser eye surgery company are a part of the Optimax laser eye surgery company.

Russell Ambrose meets Mr Ab's: Transcript of recording

Russell Ambrose: Myra Pridham, that poor poor lady, and you probably already know a lot about Myra Pridham.

She fought through lawyers for seven years to get £200,000... when she got it, 40 to 50 grand was deducted by the benefits people... so OK, seven years and 150 grand she ended up with, and the lawyers got 250,000 - I don’t know that to be an exact…

    Sasha Rodoy: 185,000

Russell Ambrose: I don’t know that to be an exact number. And she got no closure on it, I spoke to her. Sasha asked me to give her a ring, she wanted me to speak to her - no closure at all!

She said, "Well I am still no better off than I was seven years ago and the money doesn’t mean anything to me, and I am still hurt and disappointed and angry..."

And so Sasha said it would mean a lot, I mean, I forgotten about her already!
Seven years later you don’t remember these things do you? (only blinded, why would he remember)

So, just seven years as I say... I wasn’t actually sued in that case (HE WAS) the blame is always on the doctor, and Optimax was basically out of it... And I got a letter about six months before the case saying Myra Pridham has raised her ugly head (nervous laugh) - well the case has raised her ugly head not Myra!

    Sasha Rodoy: Careful!

Russell Ambrose: "Careful"? Are you recording?

    Sasha Rodoy: No...

Russell Ambrose: I don’t mind if you're recording!

Sasha Rodoy: No I am not - there we go (places mobile phone on table)

Russell Ambrose: Are you recording? (to Mr Ab’s who shakes his head no)
Fine! If you're recording I will be less guarded in what I say, less open...

Sasha Rodoy: You know I'm not!

Russell Ambrose: MORE guarded - right!
If you're not recording I'll say things about various doctors openly…

I just want to remind people that Optimax victims are still here and suffering, even if their website has vanished thanks to Ashley Bures!

    ABOUT ME:
For those of you who don't know, I have been in constant pain for 8 years now, and my eyesight is ruined and getting worse. I have decompensating exophoria, massive loss of contrast sensitivity, dry eye, blepharitis, I cannot wear prisms to cure my double vision, I have terrible pain around my left eye and forehead, I'm horribly longsightedness etc. etc......did I mention post traumatic stress disorder? Got that too, which is not surprising really.

Optimax lied to me, about me, bullied me and insulted both my husband and myself, until my injuries and their treatment of me had me wanting to end my life!

Then they offered me £50 for every person I could persuade to have the treatment!

They did not offer to pay for my many eye related expenses, nor did they reimburse the cost of my surgery.

What I did receive from Russell Ambrose, very wealthy owner of Optimax - a tatty second hand book on self help!

I think that I will soon post my Optimax records for others to read, because they pretty well sum up the "ethics" these people work by.

When Sasha exposes Russell Ambrose in court it might be just the right time to reveal to the press what Optimax wrote in my records; the press should love it, but I don't think anyone who reads it will ever have their eyes treated by Optimax!!!

    Tick Tock ;-)

I'm undecided if this is good news or not. On one hand there will be less eyes and lives destroyed. On the otherhand, of those who have had their eyes and lives already destroyed, who will payout the compensation that those people need?

A suspicious Optimax Laser Eye Surgery review site where 100% of the reviews are in favour of have the laser eye treatment done.

You can't suppress the truth, corruption will get found one day. Ask Sepp Bladder, he knows

It certainly did change the life of some people.

Russell Ambrose is not a liberator of companies, he is a destroyer of them.

Ask patients and staff of Ultralase, a former company that was stripped off it's assets then closed by Optimax.

A monthly competition to win laser eye surgery that no one ever seems to win?

    http://www.optimax.co.uk/laser_eye_surgery/competition.aspx

One might conclude that this is a marketing ploy to harvest people's details?

Looks like the well-known cowboy surgeon Gartry is out there damaging celebrity eyes. I've heard of many patients who have had complaints about David Gartry, stay clear he is a laser eye surgery cowboy
