Also got one today from BestDealWatch in association with Optimax laser clinics, same deal 500 quid off cheap laser eye surgery from Optimax. They are using a firm based in Barcelona to try and bypass uk spam laws, very sneaky. Found some more info on spamdex

    http://www.spamdex.co.uk/bestdealwatch-co-uk/ ... ye-surgery.html

Now then I'd never consider touching my eyeballs with a lasering device but even if I get, I wouldn't respond to the cheapest deal, that's crazy-[***]!!!

I made contact with Kezia Dugdal today and asked her what her opinion was on Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell's campaign to regulate the laser eye surgery industry. She said that John McDonnell was a "rocket" but Corbyn was quite "pumpable" but then also said the campaign itself was "a loada sh1te man" First Lady of Scotland?  I think not

Last year, After contacting my local MP Lou Reed about the ruined state of stars in their eyes and the disgraceful attitude of Optimo he raised questions in parliament about this. BBC radio 7 live picked up on his Vision quest and asked to speak to me, I was more than willing to air my Optimax laser eye surgery reviews on radio after 37 years of pain, blindness and sheer hell. At the time I was worried about naming Optimax laser eye surgery on air, but they were the ones who ruined my week!
Enough was enough, and I explained to my neighbour 2 doors down. Harold, I think his name is; that I wanted to put a phone to my head and make it call.
So here is a voicemail message for Russell Ambrose and Malky Samuel.
Mr Ambrose, you know my eyes wiłl never be the same and my problem will never go away without free eye drops for my dry eyes. That means for you that I will never go away either. And to Malky Samuel, remember the time you said to me "Do I know you chook? Have I seen you before sweetheart?" even tho you had indeed seen me 19 years earlier in Yorkshire. Well you certainly do know who I am now and I'll make sure that you, forget about me now!

We all know what this lot are like. Russ  once told me that Every dog has it's day but not this time Optimax, because on the 28th August in court you will see the proverbial 101 Dalmatians: the directors cut. The version where Cruella de Vil slaughters all the pups and makes mincemeat out of their leftover guts.

    Tick tock ;-D

    O-P-T-I-L-A-S-E… sounds like?
No doubt intended to sound familiar - so prospective victims will confuse it with one of the more familiar high street chains!
Wayne is a very busy man as he also owns Crewe-Brown Vision, where Professor Emanuel Rosen is Honorary Consultant. He has his fingers in many industry pies, and I’ll be discussing this when I have time!
Mr Wayne Crewe-Browne (named after a cowboy?) is also director of his own medicolegal company.

Earlier this week Russell Ambrose’s lawyer informed me that he’d taken the 'initiative' to ask Wayne if he would examine me - without discussing it with me or the Court!

    Wayne said yes.

I can’t repeat what I said but put it this way, none of his fingers will be going near my proverbial pie because I'm the Rat Catcher In The Eye

    Tick tock ;-)

Optilase has dominated Irish refractive surgery market including Northern Ireland with 12 or so clinics after Ultralase ceased to exist. They also have beauty salons coexisting with laser clinics and certainly know how to do business. They are ambitious and have expansion plans.

Expansion plans? Their MD is a crook. The other expansion he's thinking about is a new Gazebo in the summer garden of his. Russell Ambrose should know that the way in which an injured person is supported and treated will make a difference to how much they are able to cope with what has happened to them. They need to be treated with honesty and empathy to enable them to make the best recovery possible.
If they are constantly lied to, lied about, and bullied, then they won't cope well at all because their injuries have already left them vulnerable, and unethical behaviour from the very people in whom they invested so much trust will have a devastating effect.
Optimax surely know this but they just don't care.

I agree. Optimax have 90% customer satisfaction ratings on leading independent reviews network Trustpilot.

You do get one or two rockets but overall those people are just hard to please and will never be happy.

Forgot the nonsense you read on this forum and instead visit the websites of Optimax & Trustpilot.

Are you saying the reviews on Optimax's own site are unbiased?  Are you saying that they post all the reviews they get, good and bad?  Were you aware that Trustpilot has been censured more than once for not "policing" the reviews that are posted to weed out the fakes?

I heard a rumour that the Optimax ruined my life campaign figurehead is a post-op gender realignment patient who used to be known as Izhar but is now called Sacha and that he used to sell fake Ugg boots in a market stall in London but since then now sells people's details onto a medical injury PPI compensation firm and no longer needs to flog the fake boots because he's rolling in the money with compensation backhanders?

    Is this correct?

Only reason I ask is that I think he should be upfront about his reasons for operating a business like that. The TV and Internet is loaded with these ambulance chasers looking for easy money and it appears he is nothing but a fraudster who shouldn't be trusted if the rumours are true.

I got a spam email from Optimax offering me cheap laser eye surgery and £500 off + £23 p/month free finance today. It immediately made me think of the legendary US Comedian https://www.twitter.com/foxoutdoors Jeff Foxworthy and his hilarious sketch about the cheapest LASIK surgery.

Many ROTFL moments but it's 100% true, why would you want to get the cheapest lasered eyeballers in town. Madness!!!

Congratulations to the new labour leader Jerry Corbyn but his leadership win would not have been possible if it were not for Sacha's publicity &  tireless campaigning. I hope that this election publicity also helps to expose OPTIMAX and cause serious damage to their business, just like the serious damage that they did to my eyes and the serious distress caused to my life.

I feel as excited about this as you do Jane. It's no surprise that within minutes of Rt Hon. Gentleman Jeremy Corbyn being appointed leader, that the first shadow minister to resign would be Jamie Reed. The former shadow health minister knew that he was the weak link and that his incompetence helped corrupt organisations run amok in the medical community. It's clear that Jeremy will make John McDonnell his shadow health minister, so well done Sacha, as Jane said he owes his election win to you.
