There are a few cowboys about. My friend Carol had treatment by a surgeon called Sheraz Daya from the Centre For Sight. See her review here:

    He was rubbish too.

What I hate about these clinics is the celebrity endorsements. Especially the London places with their champagne drinking socialites (who probably have sex with dead pigs at the weekend) people such as the Reinstein Cowboy.

Watch this space as they fight it out to treat the bespectacled Jurgen Klopp, the new Liverpool manager, the latest specky celebrity on the scene!

Yeah - these sp-called celebrities must be low on cash if they have to take bribes to front these sorts of companies.

Ultralase and Optimax. As advertised on BBC Watchdog. Disgusting way to treat their customers, promising free aftercare and then shafting their customers by going into administration and then shafting the British Taxpayer. The ringleader in this, a bloke called Russell Ambrose, should be ashamed of himself in his pinstripe suit and shiny shorts.

    URGENT!

I called Watchdog earlier in the week and explained how disappointed and angry so many people are with last week's investigation. I would have rather watched an episode of Eastenders!!!

I pointed out a number of important issues not mentioned, including those noted in my previous complaint, adding that it was irresponsible for presenter Chris Hollins to claim that laser eye surgery is "usually very safe", while ignoring the estimated ten patients left with problems!

I have been assured that they will consider all email complaints received and the series producer will discuss this with me next week.

It's therefore vital that Ultralase/Optimax patients email me their address details - but everyone else too please!

If you are an Optimax/Ultralase patient who has been affected by the administration scam, mention this!

    To refresh your memory: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b06h7jlg/w...-series-36-episode-1

If there is enough weight I am sure we can get further cover on this, if only an apology from Watchdog next week!

So PLEASE PLEASE, send your complaints to Watchdog asap weakdog@bbc.co.uk

    Subject: 'ULTRALASE/OPTIMAX'

Also if you receive spam from them like some people here too, let them know

You rather ruined your posting by quoting a FAKE email address for Watchdog.     Bad move.

Personally i think this post is pretty  accurate., and am sure if the email address was a mistake which will be corrected in time. I dont think bob can post anything without  using the word fake.
Would  i be right in assuming  bob used to be Tam and is a bit peeved someone  else is now acquired it.

I think Bob works for Ultralase and that's why he was so offended.

Bob your company have been spamming people with laser eye surgery offers, I think it's time you had a look in the mirror and question your morals and ethics. Ultralase and Optimax are awful

You are correct boab, it should be watchdog@bbc.co.uk. As many Optimax patients will be able to vouch for, the so-called freedom from glasses in some cases leaves people needing up to 6 different pairs of glasses and unable to read computer forums without the right pair, thus please excuse my spelling mistakes in my post.

We could do with your support Bob, email watchdog and tell them about your problems you have with Ultralase and Optimax. If you are an employee blow your whistle if you know of any wrongdoing from within.

Do I? Is this not just another one of your assumptions? I can't answer for bob and equally I have no interest for whatever information you are able to process,.I also have no need to use any name other than my own. Have I successfully answered your questions now?

Optimax email spam: prizeland.co.uk £500 off and 'free' consultation. Judging by the above I can assume that I have unwittingly signed up for email spam but it won't allow me to unsub myself, it will only trigger an automated process to let the spammers know my email address is one in use thus increasing it's value and this increasing the level of spam received for similar offers + debt + payday loans.

If you get one, do as I did, reported to the ICO. Enough complaints and we can stop the spam that way.
