Looks like it's "call prevention registry (cpr)". It's a company that stops unwanted sales calls and costs about £34 for a year. All they do is register your number on TPS which is a free service. Don't asnwer thier calls. It's a scam.

Because of all the unwanted numbers i kept getting calling me i signed up for this 'cpr', then i realised they wanted paying so i'm not interested.
Now i keep getting missed calls from them although i've told them i'm not interested.
So now i have around 4 unwanted numbers calling me hourly. grrr

I got a call from these people then rang them back. They said they only charge because they also stop international nuisance calls. I told them I don't get international calls and they said they would remove me from their list. They seemed quite helpful but I wait to see whether the calls from cpr continue.

How many times do they ring before they stop calling??

They called me 3 time aqfter 5pm in a space of 30 mins.......  never answered any of them.
They are disgusting and should be fined many thousands of pounds.

Signed up the cpr, because i kept getting nuisance calls, they rang me twice in 1 hr, evrytime i answer they dont say nothing.

i registered now they keep calling,just reject it and don't register with them.

I've just had a call from them, glad I checked the number on here as I nearly rang them back to see who it was. These calls are a nuisance. What really bugs me is that my number is supposed to be ex-directory, so where have they got my number from!

they just called me, didn't recognise the number so didn't answer and checked on here instead. Shan't be answering it in the future either. Ofcom won't investigate individual complaints but the investigate a phone number if the get lots of complaints about it.

een called once again by this number it seems to every day with out fail when will it ever stop and who are they got to the stage that i will not answer my home phone and then they try different numbers

I'm sick of them calling me, they always seem to call when I'm busy doing something, I wish they would bog off!

i too thought it was free but nope so i rang them back and asked them to remove my number as i was not interested and hadnt realised how excessive there charges were, i have been told il be removed from there list fingers crossd

Why is this really helpful website letting these idiots advertise on here!!!  People are obviously using this website to rid their lives of these nuisance callers and not to encourage more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dont get involved with this lot.they are more of nuisance then the ones i was trieing to stop in the first place.its a scam.
