dont be sucked in with this company because what they dont tell you is that they pay individual people to harrass you..this is how they operate..this company is a scam operator

just had a cold call from this number - Call Prevention Registry. I told the lady they were a scam outfit and their system does not work.
Lady wasn't happy and insisted 'We are not a scam and we are the only call prevention system registered and approved by the Police'.
'Funny that' I said 'I am a Police Officer and I can tell you, you are not registered or approved by Police. British Police do not approve or promote specific companies'.
Flustered lady told me 'You need to go check because CPR-Global are registered and approved'
- Guess what love 'I have tested your system, it does not work and you promote a system and charge desperate people for a system that does not work - So it is a scam!' - Fraud by False Representation to be more precise.
Even more flustered lady still tried to promote CPR - Global was then invited to go away politely I might add and not bother calling again.

Just done the same thing. Rang them back from my land line which is on TPS. Said would cancel straight away.

I just had my 8th call in 2 days from them so now blocked on my mobile thanks to this info

This number has phoned me 3 times in less than an hour with no one on the line when answered

this is a SCAM caller, do'not call back the area code is Swansea
These joker's are coming out of the woodwork, at least its not from India or Russia

Please don't be fooled by this company.  Instead register with TPS (search TPS on line) Telephone Preference Service. You inform them of the cold caller number and they block if from calling your number.  They DO NOT CHARGE A FEE.

Sorry, Jan, but TPS does not work as you said.  It is run by the Direct Marketing Association and genuine UK companies sign up to it and promise not to cold call registered numbers. It only works for honest companies.  Rogue companies will continue to call and TPS does not cover overseas calls or calls where numbers are not shown. If a UK based company calls a registered number it can be repoerted to TPS and they will write to the calling company and ASK THEM, not tell them, not to call.  They DO NOT block calls, nor  do they have any legal powers to fine cold callers.  Sadly, the only thing you got right is that the service is free..

I have been getting unwanted calls so signed up on line to have them blocked.  Now I am getting unwanted calls from the company I registered with!  Outrageous conduct!

Trust me - they don't or can't stop international calls

or even calls from this country.

Had a call from this number, saw online it's a scam. They're a call prevention registry company but I'm registered with the TPS which doesn't seem to be making any difference at all. Had lots of calls from others as well - 01616413338,02034766425. It's wrong that these companies aren't fined & made to stop these unwanted calls.

Keep on getting this number left on my answer phone.Apparently to do with PPI,as far as I am concerned it is a nuisance phone call

I nicely spoken lady phoned me saying I had told them I was receiving a lot of unwanted call and that she told me that they can stop this and it is approved by the police , they are willing to send me a box for a one off fee for £39.99. I told her I had no money at the moment . She then told me she will call me back in 4 weeks . I have now blocked her from calling my number . This is a scam and don’t part with any money .

It is disgusting the way we are being pesterd with these unwonted calls it should not be allowed to happen we go to work only to come home and get the phone ringjng on and off all day WE DONOT WHANT IT PLEASE STOP AND LEVE AS ALONE

Yes! I signed up to tps last week no charge.  So i wonder where they got my number from, i havent contacted this firm,  having said that, and fire warned by other subscribers i do not answer my mobile anyway. I stick to emails only noe,

This is a scam. They called themselves Tps telephone preference service. They asked me questions which IF had been them they would have known. Shower of liars. One of payment £30 to stop all unwanted calls. TPS IS FREE.
