i work at cpr and can assure people we are not a scam we only contact people that have registered on our website neither do we use TPS. if you are being persistantly called by ourselves please dont hesitate in contacting me so that i can remove you, my name is Jenny William and i will assure you will not receive any futher calls from us. i used these last year i advise all not to use cos they dont stop any calls
if you want calls stopping use bt for your landline since i signed with them ive not had any unwanted calls and its free if its mobile complain to your provider

and that is how they make me feel like a sick dog
I have seen 2 sites for them with different names and both names a similar to TPS a free site to have these nuisance calls stopped
They have jumped on the bandwagon to SCAM people
I have registered with TPS and it is totally free

where as 01792454180 want to charge an annual fee

and they will pester you forever to get this money
Finally spoke to them this morning a nd when I realised this was another SCAM
told them what @I thought of them
then politely asked them to go away

Oh! saying I asked them politely was and EXAGGERATION
as my voice deafened my neighbour over the road

so basically  use TPS for this and make sure you are on the right site to prevent

I registered with TPS but then started receiving calls from CPR. How did they get my no?

I have had two calls from this lot today - can't think why as I'm already registered with them - thought this was the sort of thing they were supposed to stop happening???

It's now 10 calls in 3 days and I am getting mightily peed off with it - I did phone them back yesterday and asked them politely to stop pestering me - no such luck - 4 calls today so I have phoned them again and left a more impolite version of the message, let's see if that works????

would you believe after leaving them a message and an email asking them to stop pestering me they rung again yesterday? I told them I wasn't happy at having them endelessly phoning and they did at least have the grace to apologise for that - whether they will now stop remains to be seen but surely this constitutes harrassment????

I don't know why previous comments think this is a scam. It is indeed the Call Perevention Registry and I have paid a one off charge of £35. I can truly say that since I have done this nuisance calls have decreased. However any I do get I just have to let them know and they deal with it. Should companies persist in calling I have been advised they can be heavily fined. The Call prevention Registry would deal with that side of it also. I do not know of any free service for dealing with this problem and neither will you find any on the internet. Belive me I have tried so please rest assured this service is not a scam and it works!! Definately worth £35.

Registered on their website. Didnt know they charged £35.75 per year not one off payment like someone else on here stated.   This is a scam and they should be shutdown

oh great wish id read this first..registered with them and now ill get a secret call on my landline which i wont answer then followed by a call from this number..this goes on all day they will be hearing from me

im sick of getting calls from all different kinds of companys. most of the time they withhold the number & because of this i have to answer as i have a disabled child so i think its the school phoning & when you get on the phone they never let you have a word in i always put the phone down but they always ring back saying sorry i think we got cut, off too right did you. the ones that show a number i never answer unless i really know who they are

registered with the CPR to stop these calls and was sent an e mail letting me know they were going to be giving me a quick call...so its blatantly obvious to me,all of you who are moaning about getting calls from them, if you dont answer them how the bloody hell are they supposed to know you dont want their service, pointless burying your heads in the sand and then whinging about it...i have tried the tps which didnt work at all, you cant speak to a human being where as the cpr are on hand all the time if i have a problem (only two in the past year mind)...their fee protects me from overeseas callers aswell as uk which tps dont..i would also say to many of you you should read things before signing up, which is prob how these sales companies had your numbers in the first place and perhaps then you wouldnt feel you were being scammed....idiots!!

Yes. It's a scam. They want to be paid for anything you can do for free yourself. Register with the TPS, that's all they will do. They should be shut down!! Scammers.

The only unwanted calls over the last month have been from this number (Call Prevension Regitry?)

This number is the Call Prevention Registry from Swansea.
They are supposed to monitor your calls, and prevent unwanted calls.
They charge £35.75 and are completely useless.
Their "sevice" is non existent. They just take your money.

Actually they do prevent the calls, I've been signed up with them and nearly all of the calls have stopped.

If they is calling you, then you must have registered with them on the website because they don't cold call people.  

They have a do-not-call list which gets distributed to call centres around the globe.
