Unsolicited. No message on my answerphone.

I've had few calls from these pests ...apparently they provide a service to pervent nuisance calls.....at a price....

I used to be with CPR years ago and they were as much help as a chocolate teapot tbh. The nuisance calls stopped for about a week or two then started again. As someone else pointed out you might just as well use TPS at least it's free?

Lest anyone read that and attach legitimacy, CPR is a scam.

Infrequent but regular calls from this number at any time of day. I'm already on TPS but some of these callers still seem to slip through. Not good enough!

A company that allegedly wants to stop nuisance calls - at a cost. Surely the authorities should stop the unwanted calls - and stop people from wanting to make money from our being tormented. I will not be making a purchase from this company, or any others should they try...

what is the point of a company that supposedly aims to bar calls to you iuf their sales team can't even be bothered to leave a voice message on the answer phone, now blocked

Talk Talk have a free call blocker dial 14258, I had a call from 01792454180 saying they were from TPS I blocked the number, no more calls from them.

I have a call blocker unit from CPR, which I registered with them.  They now keep calling me offering me upgrades and trying to convince me that the unit I have is almost full (how do they know?).  Have now used the perfectly functioning unit to block their calls.

I also keep getting calls from this number and it is so annoying, why don't they take the hint and stop making a nuisance of themselves

I own a 'CPR Call Blocker' which to be fair does a good job on blocking 50% of my unwanted calls. They have brought out a new version of the 'CPR Call Blocker' which promises to catch more nuisance calls than the model I own and the man calling me was offering a part exchange where they gave me £10 off for trading in the old call blocker against the updated model.

This however is still a cold call and as a matter of principle I will not hand over credit or debit card details to a cold caller. After all it could still be a scam.

Just got a call from this number. They claim to stop cold calls. Yet their's was a cold call AND I'm registered with TPS

HERE WE GO AGAIN!!! - I requested this bunch of idiots to stop ringing about 18mths ago & to date they have, until now.  So far  they have tried 3 times today - PLEASE TAKE NOTE, I unfortunately signed up with them for a year, as I was fed up with constantly being called by various companies at all times of day/night - A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY, AS IT MADE NO DIFFERENCE WHAT SO EVER, if a company has your number you have provided it somewhere, probably quite by accident ie, competition, query etc.  These are then sold as telephone lists, and if they ring you from abroad there is nothing that can be done. SO BE WARNED WHEN YOU ARE COMPLETING FORMS ETC - DO YOU REALLY NEED TO PROVIDE A TEL NO, & IF THEY WILL NOT LET YOU COMPLETE WITHOUT ONE AND YOU DON'T THINK IT IS NECESSARY - PROVIDE A FALSE ONE!!!!!

Rang twice as I hung up the first time. Trying to sell a 'call blocking device''. Very intrusive questions.  I said I wasn't interested and put the phone down.

Purchase a BT phone which has call blocking, it is very successful you can block the numbers and they cannot get through to you.

I mistakenly registered with them online 2 years ago (Dec 2013) believing they were TPS (I should have read more carefully, I know).  I was also told it was a one off payment of £35 - IT IS NOT!!  They contacted me the following year to 'renew' for a further payment of £35.  Wasn't very pleased as you can imagine, and told them so.  Just started ringing again (Oct 2015), surprisingly after a speight of nuisance calls - suspicious much?  Do not be fooled by them, TPS is free and please everyone start reporting these numbers to ofcom - they cant do anything unless we complain in numbers!

It didn't differentiate on the website when I registered and very heavily implied it was TPS at the time.  I went back to recheck a year later and they had changed this, too late for me.  Also the call blocker stopped working after 2 months and I was rudely told I wasn't using it correctly.  Apparently they don't work with some virgin media lines anyway due to the voltage used with their fibreoptics.  It may not be a 'scam' as such, but I wont deal with a company that downright lies about the subscription (it is NOT a one off payment as I was initially informed - and the sales girl reiterated this several times when I signed up).  I would complain to trading standards if I could prove that I had been lied to.

just had a call,i listened carefully utill he wanted £39.99.just hung up and gooled the number. scam will blow whistle on them next time.

Called today. Never recognised the number so let it run to answer machine, no message left so reckoned it was spam call. Checked this site and low and behold inedible "SPAM".

U would think they get the hint when no one answers. U would also think it would be easier for us all to stop all nuisance calls
