- Jeeves replies to anonymousIf you feel like making one more attempt to get your money back read the post from "opijini" on the previous page. It seems that if you threaten to expose this lot and report them to the authorities they pay up. Action Fraud and Trading Standards are a good start, considering their accommodation addresses are in the UK. There are another couple of companies which are part of the same gang, Sanda Wellbeing and Elbon Wellbeing. The are all based in Goa and Mumbai with accommodation addresses in the UK. If you know of any community groups in your area dealing with the elderly it is worthwhile trying to get the message across for them to be aware of these crooks as the elderly and vulnerable are their target victims.
- anonymous| 2 repliesI'm replying to Jeeves, thanks for your advice.
I kept phoning customer services & emailed but my feeling was the fraudsters had no intention of refunding me.
My bank blocked money from going out of my account but as I waited for nearly 30 days I couldn't rest until the card was changed.
Unfortunately Natura healthcare are still scamming the elderly & vulnerable which is appalling but surely its only a matter of time before the right authorities catch up with them.- Caller: natura healthcare
- Ross replies to anonymous| 1 replySame story, my Dad's currently in hospital after a heart attack so my Mum (80) is easy prey at home alone. She coughed up £123 for pomegranate pills to 'Sarah Day' (who this thread has estalished is just a cover).
I phoned back to complain and an Indian gent called Gordon Anderson *cough* kept me on the phone for 30 minutes, saying Mum could get a full refund when the product was delivered in 30 days. Bizarrely, he then changed his name to Gordon Paterson *cough*, and said I must have written it down wrong when I picked him up on it.
He then backed down to a refund after 20 days, which I maintained wasn't enough. I then told him I'm a journalist who was recording the call and that I'd go to the nationals with it (all true). He said he'd cancel the order at a cost of £8.75 to himself, but he'd be willing to take the hit. Which is nice of him.
I also rang Citizens Advice (their new number is 0345 404 0506) who said some banks offer a charge Back scheme if people are scammed - it's worth asking, anyway. Mum has cancelled her card, and the bank will dispute any transaction from the company in the coming days as it appears no money has gone out yet. - anonymous replies to RossReplying to Ross, thanks for your feedback.
I reported the scam to trading standards & action fraud police. My bank has been alerted however I'm unable to get a charge back because I paid with a debit card. Luckily it was under £50.but looking on the bright side I've learnt a valuable
I'm reluctant to speak to these people again as they are so dishonest,. - grandaphone rang showing international call.said he was john marshall from NATURA HEALTHCARE,he was trying to sell POMEGRANITE SKIN EXTRACT TABLETS accordingly these tablets cured more or less all my ailments.very persistant saying there was a local phone no 01916456000 to contact him.my telephone no is ex directory so how did they get the number?
- Caller: natura healthcare
- anonymous| 3 repliesI called for the last time to ask for my refund.
After phoning a few times a lady answered & put me on hold whilst she spoke in her Asian language to members of her team. I hung up & attempted to get through a few times.
Finally the same person answered & asked for my bank details, I was requesting a cheque to be posted to me but certainly didn't feel safe giving her my bank details. Finally she cut me off so this confirms to me that I'm past the point off getting a refund.- Caller: natura healthcare
- opijni replies to anonymous| 2 repliesYou must threaten them as well as asking for a refund. Threaten to call Trading Standards, the Office of Fair Trading, the Citizen's Advice Bureau and the Fraud Squad. Tell them you will report them to the local and national press and that you are aware of all the other complaints on the Internet about their company. Ask them if they want official bodies investigating their company...this could potentially threaten all of the repeat business they have accumulated over the years. This WILL scare them and they will give you a refund. But they won't just give it to you - you must scare them and let them know you will not rest until you have your money back. Good luck and do let us know how you get on.

Called natura healthcare today only to be told a blatant lie yet again. Apparently the refund was issued on 24th November, how strange that I never received the money!
I will rise above these Criminals as I won't waste any more time or energy over trying to get my money back. Its a good lesson learnt & I'll certainly make a record of cold callers numbers & warn older friends & family/ friends of natura healthcare etc.
JUST PUT THE PHONE DOWN QUICKLY, that's my advice .
Fortunately I lost under £50 so its really not worth getting worked up about, I have more sympathy for the elderly & vulnerable people who were robbed of larger sums of money. I've changed my card etc so I don't feel threatened by the fraudsters anymore.
At least there is a growing awareness in the community & the right authorities can continue to follow each scam up. I've got better things to do than go around in circles getting nowhere, I'm. satisfied that I've done all I can so I'm happy with that. - L S replies to anonymousTry reporting this Company to BBC's Watchdog. hopefully they will delve into the problems, my friend got a call this morning from them.
- Rosehip capsules don't work!Hope you paid by credit card. Contact the issuer for a refund and fill in the actionfraud form and keep a copy of the details.

Be careful as I recently received a hoax call from someone claiming to be from Talktalk, after chasing the number I realised that it was yet another scam in the making. Don't trust cold callers, just put the phone down as quick as possible.
I will report Natura Healthcare to my Neighbourhood Watch Group to protect as many people in our local area, may I advise everyone else to do the same please. We might not be able to claim our money back however we can prevent scammers from stealing money from the elderly & vulnerable. - chuck norris replies to tobyjugLet's start night patrols in the area. These nutriceuticals are taking over our streets after dark.
- HarryPotter replies to tobyjugTAKE BACK THE NIGHT! Let us live in fear no more. I will join the night watch team too toby
- John replies to rena| 4 repliesI had a similar experience and as I already knew Natura Healthcare so placed an order of £105.95 for Green Coffee Beans, contact was very plausible. I cancelled the order two days later and was assured that original account was credited as goods not despatched. That was Nov 2014, inspite of phone calls, e-mails etc and assurances by Natura, still no refund neither can the credit card company trace any record.
Lokks like a "loss leader" (Loss to me and leader to them), I am about to give up but not without one more fight. - Tam replies to JohnAs you presumably paid by that same credit card you need to tell your credit card issuer to make an immediate charge-back. There is a time limit on that of 120 days and it looks as if you are within that, but you really do need to act now. For details of charge-back on UK credit cards please have a look at http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/problem/how-do-i-use-chargeback
Let you credit card issuer take up the fight for you, but do it quickly. Hurting them in the pocket will feel so good after the trouble they have given you. - opijni replies to John| 2 repliesYou can get your money back - follow Tam's advice, but in addition hound them with calls and threaten to report them -Trading Standards, the fraud squad, the office of fair trading, etc. Official complaints have got these types of companies investigated, prosecuted and closed down in the past. If more people reported these companies than they would be investigated quicker. How I got my money back for a friend of mine who had been scammed by a similar outfit was by calling them up - asking for their most senior employee and explaining to them very calmly that I was aware theirs was a scam company and started rattling off the names of the other scam companies like theirs also in operation. Remember these people are often quite religious - and I asked them if they thought they would receive bad karma for scamming an 80 year old with dementia out of the little money she has. I asked them if their fraudulent profession brings shame on their family name. A week later we got the full refund, but you do have to push them.
- Ronnie replies to opijni| 1 replyCan't believe this scam is still operating, surely its a matter of time before Watchdog, Action Fraud or Trading Standards catch up.
We, however, should continue to warn others in the community to be aware of Natura healthcare & other ridiculous scams.
Lets hope that in this case what goes around comes around & the criminals stealing money from elderly & vunerable citizens will be made to face their actions.
I always trace cold callers now online to help record numbers, lets hope this contributes towards catching up with fraudsters. - Rosehip capsules don't work! replies to RonnieThey all know already. Though I doubt the conclusion in the wordpress blog that information was obtained from NHS records.
BBC's You & yours warning about this scam From 25 March 2013: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01rg1gk - Rosehip capsules don't work!... and Warwickshire Trading Standards only need to follow up the links to the other cold call numbers and new directorship that AJIT RAMANLAL PATEL's past promises were lies. http://companycheck.co.uk/director/906576304
Director of Sanda Wellbeing at the time of the offences, Ajit Ramanlal Patel, paid prosecution costs and compensation to the customer together totalling £41,500.
He gave undertakings to Warwickshire Trading Standards he would not, in future business dealings, engage in the type of activity which Sanda Wellbeing had been convicted of.
(therugbyobserver) - opijniVitabeing's website has a contact email of sandy@wellness2020.co.uk - There is a registered company called wellness2020 with a MS MANJARI VARGIVANE listed as their director. She describes her occupation as 'sales' and she 'lived' in London according to her Google profile, but now resides in Bombay, and this company has a registered address of 75 COURTENAY AVENUE, HARROW, MIDDLESEX, UNITED KINGDOM HA3 6LJ. She also was a director or company secretary for RAWJI IMPEX LIMITED who have a registered address of: 8 ST. CUTHBERTS GARDENS, PINNER, MIDDLESEX ENGLAND, HA5 4JE a company that describes it's services as 'website mail order'. Interestingly there is a company named RAWJI EXPOTS with a registered address of Gulabi House, 4th Floor 111/115, Kazi Syed Street, Mumbai - 400003, India (phone (91)-(22)-3448769) who describe their business activities as exporters of spices and food products.
A Mr Salil Patankar, originally from Mumbai, but who now lives in London, has also been director/secretary to these companies, but according to his Facebook profile he is the proud owner or MD of Vitabeing. He is indeed a busy man as he also runs a company named ProActive who describe their business as "Tax Planning-Mitigation. Serving Interests of our Clients and Not the Taxman." He is allegedly based in Ruislip, Middlesex. He describes himself as a "member of the Freemasons Charity and a strong believer in NOTHING VENTURED NOTHING GAINED." You can contact Salil Patankar on 01895 677 865 or on his mobile number: 07956 479094. His office addresses are: 100 Greystoke Drive, Ruislip, Middx HA4 7YW or 97 Drummond Drive, Stanmore, Middlesex HA7 3PH. I would suggest if any one of you or your family have been scammed by this company do go straight to the top and speak directly with Salil. He may be a little surprised to hear from you at first, but I'm sure he'll be very interested to hear what you have to say. Have a look at his accountants website here: http://www.proactiveconsultancy.com/ - there's a fabulous page devoted to accountant jokes....strangely I could not find a joke containing the punchline of an accountant being complicit in a vicious overseas scam that preys on elderly, vulnerable UK citizens and defrauds them out of thousands of pounds. I wonder if Salil's professional contacts would be impressed if they found out about his involvement in Vitabeing? I wonder how his idol Boris Johnson would react?
More details about Salil can be gleaned from some of the links below. Remember - this guy is personally profiteering from your elderly relatives being tricked and scammed, so do feel free to ask for a refund and compensation!
