And quote cases reference number: AB11210355 - Rachel replies to Sarah| 12 repliesHello all,
PLEASE BE CAREFUL if you get a phone call from anyone claiming to be from this company.I am the main carer for my elderly aunt who has terminal cancer - she received a phone call which lasted for 45 minutes. The woman on the other end was so persistent wouldn't give up, kept asking for my aunt's bank card details. My aunt got into such a state....this woman even claimed to have an aunt with the same asbestos related cancer as my aunt....
PLEASE DO NOT HAND ANY MONEY OVER!
I will be reporting this to the number quoted above. - Mrs M Lumb| 5 repliesCall from Natura Health Care and i gave them a card number--can i stop this?

- Lizzy F| 1 replyMy elderly father had a call from these people and fell for their sales pitch, placed an order totaling £127.99. He has never had the goods and I am now in the process of trying to get his money back. They took the money for the goods out of his account straightaway but say he has to wait 14 to 21 working days for the refund to be paid back into his account. I don't hold any hope of him getting his money back but for the moment I have calmed my father from stressing about this. I have made numerous phone calls to them and spoken to several people there. I am a bit confused as all the people I have spoken to are not English but all have English names. Natura Health Care.........well what can I say apart from robbers who take money from the vulnerable.

- Jan| 2 repliesHi have had this problem with Natura Healthcare you can claim your money back within 7 days under the distance selling regulations you must write a letter cancelling your order and send it to the company address advise recorded delivery Natura Healthcare Ltd, The Alexander Suite Silk Point, Queens Avenue macclesfield SK10 2BB tel no 0191 645 6000 web www.naturahealthcare.com and another address Natura Healthcare Ltd PO Box 154 Newcastle upon Tyne NE20 2BA Have just reported them to citizen advice / standard trading 08454 040 506 AND ACTION FRAUD 0300 123 2040. You have to wait 30 days for a refund but they must give this to you, if the goods arrive then you may have to pay postage back to them (small price to pay) as my dad was taken for almost £250.
Maybe this will help stop them targeting old and vunrable people - Angela| 1 replyBEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
My 85-year-old father-in-law is very frail, vulnerable & suffering from dementia which is obvious to anyone calling him. Yet this company Natura Health Care cold-called him last week from 0191 645 6000 & gave him such a heavy-handed sales pitch that he was cajoaled into handing over his bank details for some 16 packets of vitamins costing almost £300. This is more than half his pension & he neither needs nor wants these vitamins. It appears that this same company also sold him vitamins in April - I have just found two full packets in his house & the vitamins look like disgusting huge foul-smelling slug pellets which he would never be able to swallow or break in half anyway. Multivitamins of a normal size are freely available in regular supermarkets for a fraction of the price.
I rang as soon as I found out about this piece of cynical selling and cancelled the order which had not been despatched. I spoke to a foreign-sounding gentleman who was perfectly polite and said his name was Mike Rogers although it did sound as though I was speaking to someone in a call centre in the Far East. He insisted that the company was genuine and based in the UK and also said I could have a refund within three days although I asked for it immediately. Now five days have passed and there is no sign of the money being refunded to my father-in-law's acocunt even though it was taken out of the same account straight away during the phone call.
I have now rung the call centre again & asked for Mike Rogers, another foreign-sounding lady seemed a little confused by my asking for that name & said she would try to find him & get him to call me back. This does make me suspect that the name is made-up and I hope the company prove me wrong, but I am still waiting for that call back. So Natura Health Care, are you going to do the decent thing and refund an 85-yr-old's pension or is this another one for Trading Standards?
I will post back on here to let everyone know if the company refunds the money or not. In the meanwhile, I would not- Caller: Natura Health Care

- Angela replies to Sarah| 2 repliesSarah - please see my post below re how your company has cajoaled my 85-year-old father-in-law with dementia into giving them his bank details after a high-pressure cold call & taken almost £300 from his bank account. This is your actual company, not someone pretending to be them, as I have already spoken to two people there about it & verified this. They admitted that Natura Health Care made the call which resulted in a huge eroneous sale to my father-in-law. We were promised a refund which should have appeared in his bank account by now, but nothing is there. A follow-up call to your company on 0191 645 6000 has yielded nothing. If you are a reputable company as you claim, why do you appear to be targeting vulnerable old age pensioners?
And where is the refund? I did cancel in time and was told action would be taken.
Can you please respond to this message asap.
Meanwhile, anyone thinking of buying anything from this Natura Health Care, please BEWARE! - Angela replies to Angela| 1 replyUpdate on my quest for a refund; Natura did call me tonight - but only because they thought I was a new customer. This time I spoke to someone who gave himself the name 'Alan' who claimed to me it was 'Mike's' day off. Under questioning he admitted to me that the call centre was in India, but only because I pointed out that 'international call' had flashed up on my phone when he rang. I went through the whole story again about my father-in-law being cold-called by his company and told him I had posted on here. I have also emailed the company & sent them a link to this page. I have again been promised a refund, but not for about a month. Not good enough Natura Health Care - and will you really honour your word?
BEWARE THIS COMPANY! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK DETAILS & WARN ELDERLY RELATIVES NOT TO SPEAK TO COLD CALLERS ABOUT BUYING MULTIVITAMINS! - Angela replies to AngelaUpdate on Natura Health Care
I am very pleased to report that Natura Health Care have honoured their word & refunded the money to my elderly father-in-law for the 16 packs of vitamins he was persuaded to buy from them over the phone. It appears that this company do care about their reputation and have done the right thing for which I am grateful. - AnnetteA relative in his late 80s, who had just lost his wife, was cold-called on Monday by Macclesfield Natura Healthcare Centre, about a "Health awarenesss campaign" the company are running. A woman called Daizila(?sp) must have asked about his health and was told he was on Warfarin. She then proceeded to "advise" on the use of Warfarin, and to take it with lots of luke warm water! Fortunately our relative took down the details, and told us about it. These people are not health professionals, and should not be cold-calling vulnerable people and offering health advice. I kept trying to ring back on 0191 6456000 (Newcastle) but she was always on another call in the Macclesfield office. I refused to leave my number for a return call, and eventually a "manager" called Alan arranged for her to be available at 1.00, when I was finally put through. I asked how she had our relative's number and apparently they buy senior citizens' phone numbers from data vendors, and use the "Health awareness campaign" as a ploy to find about illnesses etc in order to sell suitable (!?) expensive and probably unnecessary supplements. Fortunately our relative must have become so confused that no order was placed. I have advised him to have no more dealings with this company.
I have also (as advised above) reported the matter to 0845 4040506 - Customer Services Citizens Advice - and they have reported to Trading Standards. I also reported to Action Fraud (see above) but as in this case no money was handed over, no fraud has taken place.- Caller: Macclesfield Natura Healthcare Centre

She couldnn't understannd what they were on about but wrote down pommegranite and skin. - Cally| 1 replyMy 91 year old mum has had several calls from this company. Someone called Lisa keeps asking her for her credit card number. Thankfully I keep it for mum and so she can't be bullied into giving it.
Mum picks up on the words 'healthcare' and thinks it is advice from the Doctors. Very clever marketing!- Caller: nature health care
