They called to speak to my mother in law and convinced her to buy a month supply of rose hip tablets. They then wanted her to buy more and after a lengthy call we asked them to cancel the order. I paid £14.99 which has now come out of my account.

My mother aged 89 was also conned into ordering 4 packs of pomegranate tablets from Natura Health Care. She gave them her bank details after being talked into it by a very pleasant woman who was on the phone for half an hour. That was on 30/1/2014 and the tablets arrived today 7/2/2014. £50.99 + £7.50 VAT + £5.95 postage. She is so embarrassed at her own stupidity that she wanted to hide it from her family. She did contact her bank and explain to them she thought she had been conned and they cancelled the card. Too late though to prevent the money being taken from her account unfortunately.

I received a call from Natura Healthcare this morning.A lady called Maria with an Asian accent started asking me questions about my health (which I kindly gave answers to) then started giving me advice on my illnesses. After about 20 minutes I realised it was a sales pitch but thought I'd go along with it.For my BP,Mobility and Cholesterol I was advised to buy Rosehip Seed Extract which contains GOPO which I would need for 10 - 16 months.I was even given a Customer Number before being asked for my bank details.I told her that I don't give my bank details out to anybody to which she said she fully understood but....... It was at this point that I hung up

Well done.  This lot have the same operating procedures as a couple of other unpleasant companies, Sanda Welbeing and Elbon.  All three cold call, pretending to be Health Care Professionals, which they are not.  They are salespeople who prey on the elderly and vulnerable to sell their quack remedies at inflated prices.  They say that they are selling at a "special price" to help the elderly, say £14.95 for a month's supply.  Once they have the victim's bank or card details they take £149.50 or more (quite often they take hundreds of pounds for "a years supply".  They continue to send their quack remedies and take money from the victim's bank account.  Some elderly people have been too ashamed at being conned to tell their families and have been taken for thousands.  The other two companies are based in India with UK fake addresses and I would not be surprised if this lot are the same.  Like the other two companies they have a W"Front Person" who posts positive answers on here, In this case it's "ClaraF" and for Sanda it's "Bali Bailey".  There are warnings about these companies in GP surgeries all over the UK.

Why does admin not delete these spurious replies purporting to be from the company? I believe in right to reply but there is no way of substantiating them, they clog up the pages and do nothing to help.

This is a difficult one.  The person "ClaraF" posting on here is acting as a company spokesperson so, by the Ste Rules, is allowed the right to reply.  That is also why they allow posts from "Bali Bailey" on the Sanda Wellbeing numbers.  If you notice, the spokesperson is offering to correct and problems, again the same line as "Bali Bailey".  This differs from the usual fake positive posts using different names but the same IP address.  I agree that the posts are window dressing, but the only thing we can do is counteract them with our own posts.

I can understand how a more vulnerable person can be taken in by these people. At first I thought it was someone connected to my GP's surgery(I had just returned from a visit)."Maria" was very friendly and offered ideas on how to improve my health through "natural remedies" at first(I've even written some of them down!) Then she mentioned the Rosehip Seed Extract with GOPO but before she could send it she would need my bank details,at this point I hadn't even said I wanted any! As I said earlier I then hung up.My daughter has drilled it in to me NEVER to give my details to anyone so now I am very sceptical of certain callers.

It's interesting that these three disgusting scammers all use Rosehip variations.  Someone on one of the Sanda numbers, whose father had been conned out of over £1500, had the rubbish they had sold him analysed and there were some very unpleasant things in it, apart from the minimum quantity of what was on the label.  Too little, in fact, to do any good. Because the scammers are overseas and the UK addresses are virtual they are almost impossible to stop so the best thing we can do is tell as many people as possible to do as you have done and hang up on them.

I've recently got power of attorney for my 87 year old aunt who has altzeimers. In checking her bank statements I've found that she paid out £250 in November then another £340 this February. She has shown me her packs of Rose Hip and Pomegranate and told me today she needs to order some more. Are trading standards still looking into this company ?

Don't know about Trading Standards as this lot will only have an accommodation address in the UK.  However, "Concerned Daughter"  who has posted up the page from your post says she was told to contact Action Fraud,, which is a Division of the Metropolitan Police  dealing with frauds like this.  As a start you could try contacting "ClaraF", who seems to be this lots apologist, using the details from its many posts.  Tell her about your  mother's mental condition and where you are going to report the matter if you don't get the money back.  Tell them that, if they want their rubbish back, they must send you a prepaid label.

Sorry, that should have been  your aunt's mental condition.  I have just been reading through the posts again and notice that ClaraF actually posted a reply to me, asking me to contact them to find out "the true details".  Absolute load of rubbish but something which Sanda and Elbon also do, to try and make themselves look good.  Sadly for them , there is yoo much evidence to the contrary.
