repetitive calls

All day today and continuously this number has been calling several times I have answered and I get hung up on Times I haven't answered they don't leave message on my answering machine which the caller allows it to come in.

I assume you are in Australia as this number is used by American Express in USA for other purposes. Read previous postings on this that I have made earlier, dial 0198339999 to collect any outstanding SMS messages. If the phone is ringing once it could be that you have an SMS capable handset and the receive memory is full and the handset is unable to receive the message.

I received a threatening voicemail from talk to text and now I cant find the message - it isn't in my voicemail box nor in my text messages.

Calls all the time and then hangs up as you answer - creepy because I wonder if they're checking I'm at home.

This number called me started at 11.11pm 4 more calls then I took note of the times 2.57am 3.41am, 4.27am, 5.12am last call 6am.  I did not speak or listen.  What a pest so looks like plenty of people have had frequent calls from this number.  Doesn't ring for the long but long enough to write down their number.

The 0198339100 is a Telstra Voice/SMS/Text to landline number. A friend or client has left a message for you. The phone will ring, you pick up the receiver and wait for about 30 seconds and voice will come on in regards to a message. It will also give you options. The phone will keep ringing about every 15 minutes or so until you engage the message. Sometimes it hard to tell whether you a being spammed or whether the call is legitimate.

I always let answering machine take ove with unknow or out of area numbers. No message left, just hang up when answering machine cuts in. However I did get a voice text yesterday, using my name Gail message said Hi Gail I can bring a salad tonight or do some kebabs. Similar to other reports I have read regarding this number.  I guessed it was some kind of scam or nuisance call as No one came around to feed me with salad or kebabs.
