Getting 20 msg's per day for the last few days, what a nuisance!

Message is auto generated junk and sent to my non-Telstra voip number.

Rang the Telstra nuisance call reporting line and was advised that they can't stop their own system from being misused by spammers!

Seems that Telstra has a special program to remind me from time to time why I should give them any of my business back...

Correction: "Shouldn't give them any of my business back"

Horrible angel chain letter voice text coming thru incessantly from this number...

I had a phone call that reported a message from telemarketing (i think) said a verbal message was to follow - it said - good luck in your decision making to day.

i got this call last night at 10.30pm I WISH IT STOPS

we are getting these annoying phone calls from this number
we dont answer it as we see the number on our phone and then the
message bank  cuts in but they do not leave a message
pretty dodgy i think

2 calls between 935 and 940 last night on my landline, which is unlisted

I get a few calls from this number but there's never anyone there. I've read that a talking text is involved, but I don't know.  Doesn't sound like that to me .. seems more like a nuisance call. Surely Telstra would have their act together better than to allow that type of confusion.

Rang Telstra on 132203 to get this number barred.  They insist that it is there text to talk message service and I told the guy to google the number and look at the complaints. I told him that although it maybe their service number, someone else is using it somehow to constantly ring people with nonsence messages. He is disabling it from my home service and it takes 24 hours to do.  He did give me a better number to call for these types of calls 1800805996. Hope this helps anyone that is getting these calls.

Have just started getting these calls as of 30 minutes ago... Caller ID & I thought as I don't know the number, letting it go through to answering machine usually creates an automatic hang up!!!... HOWEVER, this just kept on *You have five....* thus I disconnected the call... Came on line to Google it, found, like many above, plenty of complaints!!!... Had another call 15 mins after the first, idiot garbled message, same ID, so pulled phone from wall GRRR!!!...

I have received three calls from 0198339100 this morning. Phone rings we answer it and they hang up. never know who it is.

Thank you so much your solution really worked. I phoned the number you gave and it was an sms message sent to my landline by mistake, that I had missed earlier. It kept calling every half hour all day, and I didn't know what it was, I even phoned Telstra and spoke to three different people and they didn't know what it was. I didn't even have to delete it I just listened to the message and the calls stopped.

no message just comes up on my phone

Got a phone call this morning asking if I was asleep and the guy called me a name that only a few close friends call me. Said Happy Easter and then hung up. This has got me more than a little worried as don't know how he found out my nickname and why he rang. I don't know this number at all and noticed there has been other complaints about it so hoping they haven't gotten info off our phone when they rang

I have received 3 calls from this number, once at 11pm last night, and 2 this morning in the past hour, after having read many complaints on this number I'm not all too keen on answering. I am going to get onto telstra soon and complain I just hope they listen to me for once. Never have in the past hopeless pricks. Thanks

Had several calls this week I answer then silence then they say Goodbye. But tonight I have had 3 calls of complete silence. Its doing my head in.

this number rings, when i answer, and say hello..it says hello is not reconised,

this number rang my phone and for 2 days no one could ring in until I whistled as loud as I could into the phone and within seconds we regained dial tone.
