now if you use shear download sites ie rapid, megaupload ect.. you may also come across a share site that needs you to type in a code for you start your download. i dont know the name of the share site that dose this, (couls be called nextcard or nextshare maybe), but this is the cause of the charge.
never type personal details online unless they are a registered and trusted company. - MuzJust called Orange and they told me that I had been charged £4. I was a little surprised as I had not done anything other than read the message! Orange assured me that when my bill becomes active, I can call them and get the charge refunded.

- pissed offgot the same message,rang my provider in protest,(o2)and they are prepaired to do jack [***] about it. thanks for nothing o2! if it wasnt for these comments on this page i would still be panicing. someone said virgin had refunded there money,even though they knew nothing about it. well,im moving to virgin and would advise all else to also.

- petei had the same text from nextcard ltd phoned my network o2 they said they knew all about them and there scam . o2 gave me a 4 pound credit on my account to cover the charge o2 also told me that you can only be charged for one text from nextcard ltd they cant keep texting you . if you phone nextcard ltd back on the number 02032863990 it is charged at normal landline rate . people that do this are scum and need to get a job .the number to report this is 0800500212 or for landlines rates its 02079407474 report it now

- Tony BeardsleyI recieved the same message and telephone 0800 500212 option 2 the regulatory body and they informed me that it was due to me being late billed for a winrar software that I had downloaded to my computer recently so check that you haven't downloaded this software recently too. I feel better now.

thats all you can do that will stop this happening in the future - Terry KI received the same text. I have called Virgin who have advised me to text baack "STOP ALL". They say they will look into it and get back if there is anything they can do but my account has already been debitted with the £4.00. Would that we could get our hands on these scum.
