Makes horrific reading - if this had been done as a one off robbery, it would be one of the biggest of all time - Noel replies to MaxThis piece below was written by journalist Lewis Porteous in the Racing Post, 15th November 2012, comparing Ken Gundlach to Sheikh Fahad al Thani of Qatar. Both began investing heavily in British horse racing in 2010.
Seemenomore on scoreboard at Southwell
He may not be operating on quite the scale of Sheikh Fahad but Ken Gundlach has made a serious investment in British racing over the past 18 months and his maroon silks were carried to an emphatic victory courtesy of Seemenomore in the 6f nursery.
Gundlach, a director of Bordeaux Fine Wines Ltd, has 20 horses in training with the likes of Michael Bell, Marco Botti and Jamie Osborne and hopes to make his mark in Dubai over the winter.
"Mr Gundlach is taking it very seriously and really enjoying it," said the owner's racing manager Armando Duarte. "We've been busy at the horses in training sales and are preparing a team to send to Dubai."
Among that squad will be the Osborne trained Field Of Dream, who won the £100,000 International Stakes at Ascot for Gundlach in July. - Mike replies to Baz
- SS| 3 repliesI have just read and re-read the article and to be honest I'm ashamed of ever having associated with such a parasite.
There is no doubt that Gundlach will get his comeuppance I'm sure the judge will give him 7 years plus once the fraud and scale is uncovered.
I've read posts on here that relate to keeping his family out of this, I agree that his kids have nothing to do with it and are as unfortunate as the victims in this. His wife on the other hand is as guilty as him and deserves to be prosecuted or persecuted for this too.
I'm praying that the victims in this scam get justice and wish you all the best.
I have absolutely no remorse for taking Ken for £100k plus last week.
This is the only and last time I will post on here. - Anon replies to Baz| 1 replyHere is the link to the Mirroe Article:

After reading the article I am speechless, a scam of such massive extent - Paul replies to SSWhat do you mean taking £100k from him? We need more information
- Mike replies to SSHope you declared it as SFO will go through this lot and associates with a fine tooth comb.
- King JamesThis is disgraceful! I only hope that Ken Gundlach is punished for this!
I found this link when I put the search term 'Bordeaux wines' into google, maybe the investors need to create a forum specifically for support, news and general communication. - SS Admire replies to SSPray tell SS
How did you take him for 100K +
Well done you. - RCD| 2 repliesHi, I'm one of the unfortunate ones who was taken in, and today I've been emailed by Restructuring & Recovery Services, Smith & Williamson LLP for me to call them. They say they are an insolvency practitioner acting for a number of creditors in this case and specialise in fraud and asset tracing. Has anyone else been contacted? More generally, should I be doing anything now, or await further news?
- John replies to deleted postUnsecured creditors rarely if ever get anything back — they are well and truly at the bottom of the pile when it comes to dishing out what, if anything, is left. I know from bitter experience.
- DesI have some wine purchased via BFW stored in an LCB vinotheque account in my name, so at least this must have been purchased and is safe? Correct?
- LogicalMy heart goes out to the poor investors that lost there money. I was lucky being one of the smaller investors that got there money back.
I just wanted to say that anyone having a go at his wife is obviously jealous other wise why would you be bothered so much by her lifestyle she earns her own money and is a respectful person!
In regards to the daily mail artical, none of the figures are accurate and for all of you on here that said you were going / at the court case you should know that!!!!!!!!!!!
Andrew p is paid for glorified articals that grab peoples attention, heartstrings with drastically exaggerated stories!
Ken was the wealthiest young man in an around the Croydon younger generation for a long time which sparked a lot of chat an envy..... An now everyone has seen a few rumours in the paper it's your chance to rip him an his wife on here!

Put your real names on here if you've got something to add an donate all you designer clothes an watches & cars to charity if you really beleive it's dirty money....... Or even better sell them all empty your accounts and pay the investors back YOU sold too !!!!!!!!!!!!! - insiderKen is gearing up to leave the country within a year. SS is either his security guard or the indian guy who was helping him hide his money.
Ken and kim are claiming a seperation and will divorce so they can keep some money. Ken has lots of people he met through horse racing who will help him get away or hide his millions. Alpha is the brains behind most of this and will be the one that gets to keep his money. He has already transferred some of his money as an investment to his brother. Mike has opened another investment house, Matt has gone into recruitment and is trying to make his company legit. Ken and the gang don't knpw who they've upset and soon will have a visit from a very well known turkish family who are not happy that they were making so much money and not sharing it with them. Watch this space.
