Met Ken before, he's a nice guy! First I've heard about this, he even promoted the wines industry to me as an investment, so I am sure it's not a con!

I see this as mismanagement and the foley of youth and money.

I'm assuming that you are joking? Though I can see very little to laugh at. This revolting individual and his hangers on have devastated the lives of many people through their lies and greed.

The multi-millionaire boss of an investment company has closed down his business in the wake of a warning I issued last year, and in the face of a High Court condemnation that he pocketed millions of pounds of investors’ cash from another of his firms.

Kenneth Gundlach, 30, ran Invest in Storage Limited. I sounded the alarm last November over its scheme to sell warehouse ‘storage pods’ controlled by a separate company, Store First. I warned that Gundlach was also boss of a shady wine investment business under investigation.

Companies House has now struck off Invest in Storage. It was wound up two weeks ago at Gundlach’s request.

In a separate move, Insolvency Service investigators have won a High Court case to shut another of his companies, Bordeaux Fine Wines Limited.

On Wednesday last week the court heard that Gundlach had confessed there was a ‘significant shortfall’ in wine held in storage for investors.

The Official Receiver had found wine worth just £200,000 in a bonded warehouse, leaving investors who had paid £12 million with nothing to show for their money. Investigators also found that last year Gundlach paid ‘the Wolf of Wall Street’ – fraudster Jordan Belfort – to fly from the US to Croydon, South London, to give a two-day motivational talk to his salesmen.

Gundlach drew at least £10 million from the firm. He now lives in a millionaire-style mansion at Kingswood in Surrey and owns a string of racehorses.

Ordering Bordeaux Fine Wines to be closed, the judge said Gundlach appeared to ‘treat the company account as his own bank account’.

Investigator David Hill described the company as ‘thoroughly disreputable’, adding: ‘The Insolvency Service will not allow rogue companies to rip off vulnerable and honest people, and will investigate abuses and close down companies if they are found to be operating against the public interest.

Yes, I have been contacted by this firm, but I am worried in case it is another scam. I have already lost £16,000. As a pensioner, I am not sure what to do.

Ive lost money in this scam, but as im still working i will some how get over it, it breaks my heart when i hear most investors are pensioners and will suffer finiancial loss till they die. I urge all you ex emplyees to help the investigators with any information you can to bring these thieves to justice. I know we wont get our money back but it will help stop them doing it again to anyone else.

I do not think the liquidators have been appointed yet. This will be done on 14/3. Various parties are looking to be appointed. Is this correct?

Has anybody rang the met at Croydon on the above number, if so it would be interesting to know what's been said or is this number another diversion tactic by Ken supporters ???
