Hi all,
I also spoke to a lady by the name of Alisa Nelson. She called me on behalf of Blue Moon Direct. I asked her a few questions which she was quite hesitant to answe. Alarm bells started to ring when they called me on a Saturday, then again on a bank holiday Monday. Straight away, I knew something was dodgy. They were very persistent. I eventually spoke to her on the Monday, where she invited me for a formal interview. I agreed, eventhough I knew I wouldnt be going. I then did my own research online and came across this post, which confirmed my suspicions. They can wait for me to turn up tomorow. They don't even deserve a call to say I won't be present. Idiots!- Caller: Blue Moon Direct
- OnkiaBeware of this Blue Moon Direct....also with other names tooo like Live Marketing Company - Abby Moore would b one among the contact.

Who walks round the whole of liverpool for an interview what a fun day out that was hahahahaha. Now looking for a warehouse job somehow Carolina pops up im applying for that many jobs couldnt remember what it was. But as soon as the women told me to come to citrus house I new it was a scam and I laughed down the phone at her. The scam/virus is now in liverpool they are a bloody plague i feel sorry for the people who havent got the sense to research this before an interview

- K.C.| 1 replyI just applied for a job with SSC this morning - within a minute or two I got the following email (surely not long enough for them to have actually read my entire CV)...

This did not make me particularly suspicious, but when I googled the company, I found this site! My email also includes the Shand House Address, and the advert offers very similar things to the 'benefits' mentioned above, such as £250PW - £500 + OTE. I also had a quick look at their website, which is very nothingy and doesn't really explain what they really do day-to-day - for example "S.S.C Marketing is based in central London and specialises in face to face customer acquisitions, bridging the gap between client and consumer" - So is this door to door sales or what?! ...and what exactly are they selling?!
It sounds to me like the same business is either operating under several different names, or as soon as one is found to be dodgy, they maybe just pick a new name out of a hat! SSC, JTG, London Green Marketing, Carolina Consulting, Monster Marketing Direct, and Source Marketing Direct - they seem all too similarly dodgy, which is why I will not be calling them SSC back to arrange an interview!
So glad I found this site first!- Caller: SSC (via email)
- Rosey| 3 repliesI wish I would have read these messages before. My son applied for a junior property surveyor for Blue Moon Direct. What a scam... Had two interviews, got the job and started on a saturday. He was out the house 14+ hours a day. He earnt nothing the whole day and he was at a loss because it cost him £15 to get to London each day. They used brainwashing techniques on him to try and get him to stay there. I made him see sense and thank god he only did one day. He is only 19 and they seem to be targeting young vulnerable people. Because of the stress he has lost 1/2 a stone in weight. I am in the process of contacting watchdog. If everybody does the same, then they might investigate.

- FelipeI attended an interview there a while back, got through the various stages, then got a prompt phone call that apparently I was the one. Thankfully I found something else. Everyone attending the first interview progressed to the second, which was also the third. During my work trial second day I followed around a guy cold calling, and pushing a particular product. Over ten hours on my feet, and I regard myself as genuinely fit (several marathons behind me) and then I discovered the "system"' is commission-based. What I was slightly shocked by was one house, when the above guy seemed to be way too pushy with a very old lady living alone. This didn't make my week - anything but ! I was horrified. Do yourself an eternal favour and stay clear of this set-up. I'm sure you can always find people defending "Abby" ( the "woman" who initially sent me an emailed response) and Blue Moon Direct or one of their shell "subsidiaries" but they always need people in their set-up running this thing.

I just had 1st interview today and 2nd tomorrow , which of course I'm not going after seeing this blog! Wish to see it before 1st interview ! Waisted my time ! Blue moon direct called me on bank holiday to I form me about interview next day ! Strange enough but I need a job so went for the interview , it was so unprofessional that I have decided to google some informations about this company and found everyone's opinions ! Thank you !!! At least they won't waste my time !
I had contact with alisa at angel house office .
And they r liers ! I asked the guy on the interview if this sale is about door to door and he say no . When I ask what is the job about he told me massive story about progression but nothing specific ...
Please don't waiste your time !- Caller: The blue moon direct
- Not happy| 1 replyJust had the same email and it's complete lies. I rang to ask if it was true that there was no salary and only commission and she said there are several jobs available so i went to the interview and was told all the jobs are commission based so don't waste your time. It's a scam I'm afraid. Blue moon direct is just the new name they use because they got so much abuse for their other scam company but it hasn't changed. Avoid alisa nelson like the plague.
