- SamA lady just called me from Aspire Aquisitions to arrange an interview for Thursday at 4:30pm. I was immediately suspicious when I asked her where they are located and she told me a completely different location to the one on the website, and even that looks shoddy!!! Don't bother going guys - it's not worth the time and effort especially in today's climate. Good luck to all those who've Graduated and are struggling to find the job they want, or any job at moment. Be patient, keep trying and something GOOD will come along soon enough.

- MarkHad a first interview at the 'Coventry Branch' of Aspire Acquisitions and had all the same as above. Sadly being unemployed I was suitably eager and have had the phone call & email ('comfy shoes'!!) Only thought about googling them beyond their crappy website so that I might be more prepared for them haha shocking!
Quite frankly I dont want to go to a 2nd 'interview' that is 12hr door to door sales. Even worse the bloke told me in 10mths time I could be earning 64k as a manager. What a joke, how are they allowed to get away with this!
Will not be attending the next stage and advise others to not bother. Problem is innocent people will continue to go as they are allowed on recruitment websites. Why?? Is Reed.co.uk a scam too?? Im too damn trusting :p If you actually think about it is all a bit too good to be true...
Thank you everyone for the heads up. - danielle jamesi had a call from this number on one day it as aspire ... three days later same number but it was red square direct... all the same people.. if they phone me again and stop a real agency / company getting through theres gonna be murders.. lol

- george agdgdgdgwengoWent in for an interview today to see what it was all about seeing as the advert on reed was so vague. The advert itself sounded a bit weird, but things got weirder...
All the stuff about the music in the waiting room and the cheap suits is true. Wish I'd seen this before I wasted a tenner on the train fare. Never mind. Lesson learnt.
Anyway, my 'half hour interview' was only about ten, because they were 'running behind'. This didn't really give me much of an opportunity to quiz the interviewer about what the job really involved, but let's just say the [***]-o-meter was being pushed to the limits.
Anyway they said they might invite me back for further assessment on Saturday or Monday and lo and behold, i've been selected. But i've got a proper interview for a proper graduate job on monday, i think i'll go to that instead.
Unfortunately this graduate sales and marketing job is not what it appears, well actually, it is - it's a load of balls.- Caller: Aspire
- sweetyHey i got call from this number today. i asked him to send me an email as the interview is scheduled for Monday 3:00pm. I still havent received confirmation an email.
Thank you everyone for the information. - Aspireisjokes!!Oh dear!!. So I went for this last week on a Friday. I did not have a copy of my CV. They were soooo disorganised and the CHEAP suit story is soo true. I have a flipping degree and masters both from a UK top 5 University and they want me to do direct sales. The guy lied so much claiming I could be a manager in the next six months. Lo and behold I was chosen for an assessment the next day. After what I endured, (cheap suit, music that was blatantly trying too hard in my opinion, girls with high heels who look like [***], so called managers whom I doubt even had GCSE's). I ignored their phone call and did not attend on that Saturday. Now that I have read all your comments, I have no regrets. I actually feel stupid for going. The website seemed dodgy but I just wanted to give it a shot. Good luck everyone. The job market is touhg but perseverance, netowrking and faith is the key!
- LaurennI had the same call from this number to i thought it sounded really fake
really need a job but I'm not getting mugged off by this scam
i thought the website was dodgy
thank god for finding this on here
someone should get watchdog on them to get there adverts taken off the jobsites

- I will not be scammedI had exactly the same experience. I thought it was a bid dodgy as the website was badly written and did not have the usual information about the company. I went to the interview and had abot 10 minutes with this guy who seemed unprofessional and was asking me really vague questions about my history and then spent ages talking about the company. The lady called me congratulating me on getting through to the next round and told me to bring 'comfy shoes' the same as previously written. I will NOT be going tomorrow to the second wave interview. Thank goodness my boyfriend checked this on-line, thanks for blogging.

- DanySame story guys, you get an interview so quickly you think I don't have enough time to research about them...still found their fake website and though "very cheap stuff"...I went sometime this week and same story with loud music and horrible chairs in the horrible waiting room in 1 BATH Street ( their number 0207 017 3866)...well I just discovered the truth in this VERY helpful website and I m shocked!I was ready for tomorrow but still I wanted to find out a bit more!
What to say I have got a degree and don't need to sell anything door to door!
I m sorry I wasted my time and money for travel card, plus stress after my REAL job so for now I keep what I have.
Thank u everyone...
P.s. Someone should write to a newspaper about them !- Caller: Aspire AcquiFAKitions
- Anonymous| 3 repliesI don't know i the system will let me attach stuff but I managed to get hold of the names of the directors. The companies EA Worldwide and Aspire Acquisitions Ltd the same owned by the same people. They are connected to an American company called Aspire marketing group inc. They have more bad reviews than any other company.
EA worldwide has been around since 2007, Aspire was only since February this year. The owners are

The companies have been running at a loss. They most likely can't pay you their recent accounts show they are 17,000 cash in bank. The companies net worth is in the negative, the most recent report looks like this, Balance Sheet summarised. This is for EA Worldwide, aspire is yet to file any accounts. Hope this helps. In future I hope to set up a website to combat these con artist companies.

- KellyOmg and to think I was going to stay up tonight preparing for this dam interview I still can't believe it. The same lady called me and told me I have an interview at 1.30 the following day. This is completely absurd they should not be allowed to raise our hopes up like that. The picture of their building on their website looked so magnificent that I had no idea they were dodgy. I still haven't received the confirmation email, thanks for the warning won't be attending the interview.

- SarahThankgod I read this. I got an email from Aspire also telling me I had a preliminary interview with a Managing Director. Luckily I did some research on the company and found this webpage.
I called the woman to tell her I would not be coming to the interview and asked her if the company was a scam and she of course totally denied it.
I found the Job on Reed and will be contacting them as soon as possible to let them know.- Caller: Asquire Acquisitions
- AGReceived a phonecall from Tatiana calling from Aspire.
Im SO NOT going for the preliminary interview, geese I have a degree.
Altho in the phone she said that its not commission based work. I posted my application on reed for a graduate business development programe, now I know what that really means ARGH. Thanks for blogging this with hilarious comments!=)- Caller: aspire acquisitions
- MarineHey guys, Thanks very much for warning ! I was supposed to have an interview with them this afternoon at 1.30 and basically just called them to cancel it !
I had a similar interview with london marketing service 2 years ago and experienced the preliminary interview and the day out with the salesman begging people to buy make up !The salesman that was looking after me was trying to convince me that door to door sales was fun (not really when you're only paid on commission, or when you have to carry all those suitcases with you all day long...)
I'm really glad I found out this forum (b4 going there) as I would have been gutted to loose my time again for that kind of dishonest company! As you all know time is precious for a jobseeker! Thanks again for that and good luck to all of you ! - JamesAny help out there got a call from this company called Devere and partners. They claim to be financial advisers and the role means travelling to Mexico. Anyone heard about this company? Are they real?
- Caller: Devere and partners
- fiona100% SCAM!!!
DO NOT ACCEPT ANY INTERVIEW OFFERS WITH THIS COMPANY. COLD CALLING, DOOR TO DOOR SALES, COMMISSION ONLY, IN ALL WEATHERS. THE EMPLOYEES WORK 6 DAYS A WEEK 9.30-10PM. THEY TELL YOU YOU WORK 11-8PM, WHICH IS A LIE.
I WASTED TIME AND MONEY BECAUSE OF THIS COMPANY. THEY CONSTANTLY RECRUIT, DAY IN DAY OUT, OFFERING EVERYONE A JOB BECAUSE THEY KNOW PEOPLE WON´T STICK AT IT AND THE ONLY WAY MANAGERS MAKE MONEY IS FROM SALES PERSONS ON THE STREET.
THEY PROMISE MANAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND A 6 FIGURE SALARY IN 6-12 MONTHS!!APPARENTLY THEY ARE OPENING OFFICES IN SPAIN IN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS AND ARE USING THE UK AS A SPRINGBOARD FOR EUROPE. I DONT THINK SO. THEY ALSO CLAIM THAT YOU WILL BE RUNNING YOUR OWN OFFICE WITHIN A YEAR. ITS TOTAL CRAP.
PLEASE DONT WASTE TIME AND MONEY LIKE I DID. THEY HAVE THIS SCAM DOWN TO A FINE ART. - MichelleOMG, luckily I googled this company. I got a call from a lady for an interview right after my application submission within half an hour. I am scared after reviewing all comments here. I ai't going tmr for this crap company for sure. PPl should be more careful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
