I got called from the same number and invited to first interview but while I was talking to so called manager who was telling me about how they did grow and also they might call me for the second round if I am successful on the first interview. After he finished without asking me any question, I checked my mobile and saw a miss call from them and Samantha or god knows who greeted me and invited me to the next round. Hmm that was quick, without answering any question I passed it.

By the way they got a brand new name "Unik Corporation LTD".

they called me today, not going for the interview...already went twice a few months ago when they called me from London Marketing Services and I ended up in Leytonstone with a bunch of loosers who had lunch in the train...I said good bye and came back home feeling like an idiot.

Missed a call and received an email from these guys... i always google unknown numbers to me, and oh lordy mother of f##k, i'm glad i did. So... i've sent them an email... (btw they are trading as Aspire Ltd. the email address is hrdept@aspireldn.co.uk)

    Hello,

No offence, but if you check the following links you'll see your phone number, address, and website information suggest that the job title advertised isn't really what potential candidates would be doing.

    https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/02070173866/3

    https://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/02072519028

http://whois.domaintools.com/aspireldn.co.uk (I notice Aspire LDN have traded under several names)

I'm not very good at sales in an office based environment, let alone door to door. If you had read my cv you would know that.

I'm sure there are people gullible enough (as sure as I am that I won't here from you again) that it would be a wasted journey to your 'office', attend an 'interview', and endure the humiliation such predatory companies as your own inflict upon people.

Apologies if I am mistaken and your intentions truly were to provide gainful and fulfilling employment to a lucky few.

In the meantime please disregard my application and delete any personal information, at my request, you may have for me in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2003.

    Regards,

    ################

I suggest good people such as yourselves do the same.

Hey Big Mo, if that's true, why not be upfront and tell people that they're going to be selling stuff in shopping centres and door to door? That way you get the people who want to do that and don't waste everyone else's time. The way Aspire etc work looks as if you've got something to hide - surely not?  And leaving caps lock on doesn't help make whatever point you were trying to make.

    Relieved
i went to the first interview with them and felt positive about the whole thing (although in hindsight i can see lots of suspect things) then i found this site... i phoned up to say i couldn't make the interview/assessment day, and the girl was not at all surprised - she just asked my name and then hung up.  i still don't understand why they'r looking for graduates for door2door sales, why can't they be honest and advertise it? and big mo, i'm very willing to work hard as long as i'm rewarded - it would take a lot of make-up boxes sold at 5£ a go to make up the 20000£ you get from most graduate schemes!

Making comments here will not help matter. What about those guys out there that are desperate about job who may be victims of these people. Can this be reported to goverenement agencies to take care of this madness.

This company uses extremely underhand methods to prey on recent graducates.  Their job advert on reed and totaljobs.com is completely inaccurate, which is why I am getting in touch with the advertising standards agency.  If they had put on the job desciption 'Door to door sales person wanted' I would not have gone anywhere near them. They then talked so quickly in my preliminary interview trying to confuse me with marketing jargon.  My advice to anyone who receives a call from aspire or any of their other company names is to stay well clear. They are a dishonest company trying to waste graduates valuable time and money in this post recession world.

i have been in touch with Watchdog this week, and they are very interested in this company!! Pending investigation.

Big Mo, I cannot believe anyone is actually stupid enough to fall into this aspire trap permanently. Open your eyes and realise that this really is not the dream job that you seem to think it is.  Poor misguided little sales man.

Just saw these messages when I typed ‘Aspire Acquisitions’ into Google and it does seem like a scam. Applied to the job via Reed through the following link:

    http://www.reed.co.uk/Job/details.aspx?jobId=18301651

It seems like a really good marketing job with a wage of £16,000-£19,000 but quite frankly that’s a load of B*llocks! I rang my local Reed representative, who agreed that the job looked ‘dodgy’ and advised me to call them to try and suss them out, which I did. I was told by a lady named Kelly that I wouldn’t be paid a wage and that it was all commission based. She then said to me that she was going to cancel my interview, without me even asking! Seems like this company operates under a number of different names (e.g. GM Solutions, Fosters Marketing Solutions, Supreme Corporation UK, etc). I spoke to  Kelly on 02070173866. Word of warning- DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS JOB!!!! I’m glad I sussed it out before the interview!

I used to work for this company and like a fool I stayed for three month.... The receptionist is not called tatiana but angel.... They poison your mind with you can earn 64k a year and retire by the age 40.... All the things that made me want to join....

They break it down like this:

    stage 1: distributor - earning £300/400 100% commission
(really only earning £100/250 - if you're lucky)

    stage 2: leader - earning £400/600 100% commission
(really only earning £200/300 - once again if you're lucky)

stage 3: assistant mananger - basic £600 (lies) - plus commission from field sales
(you earn your basic from the leaders and distributors under you)

and you get the picture.... It was the only job that while I was working I was BROKE.....

Old street, London bridge, Brighton, Coventry, Colchester, Maidstone etc.... They've even moved to Spain....

DON'T GO TO THIS JOB !!!!! WASTE OF TIME !!!!!

Olu, Ducan and Adam are all scam artests......

I can't believe some of these comments, to be honest I think they are very commical. If you havent realised first of all I'm sure they wouldn't have called you if you didn't apply for the role. I have read that some people feel because they have a degree or a masters that the role with aspire is above them. This is very interesting because if you were that qualified and that much of an asset I do not understand why you would be applying for roles that state no experience needed?? This is quite puzzling to me. Also I have a masters in business administration and I see that as just a piece of paper, it doesn't validate me. Personally I have been working with aspire for around 3 months now and at the start I was very sceptical about the opportunity to progress so quickly. So what I did was find out things for myself rather than just letting other people make up my mind for me and I have loved the personal growth and progression I have made in all different aspects of the business. I have seen for myself people getting through the program quickly and are doing well so I guess seeing is believing. It can't be a scam if they are able to work with such a strong client portfolio they have which is constantly growing, it just makes no sense. Considering the majority of the comments here are made from people that couldn't handle working that hard, people who just made their minds up from other peoples opinions and people who quit on themselves. Being successful doesn't come easy, Just ask any successful people you know (family friends), ask them what they had to do to be a success. I guess Duncan Banentine is an idiot as he started his career driving an ice cream van. Also Richard branson started by busking outside train stations. I guess those guys did quite well for themselves. I guess I'm just as dumb as them as I am o.k in starting in a position that I don't particularly like to progress a lot quicker than others then so be it (i must be brainwashed...lol). If this was such a scam I dont know how they would be able to expand into spain and other countries. Hmmmmm.... Very strange. I wish you guys good luck in your jobs search and I will keep on being scammed I guess.

Ok amused..... if you're so happy with working at aspire state your name.... i know everyone who works at aspire and most are miserable or just dont wanna quit because they've invested too much time in to the company.... we both know all that jazz olu talks is crap but you let him 5 step you into staying.... look how many people have left in the last few weeks.... or even before that.... because of they were 'not right for the company' when really it because they asked too many questions or the ones that were doing so called 'fraud'.... if thats the case why has none of the people been even questioned by police?.... i'll tell you why..... because if olu or any of the managers for that fact get police involved and their accounts and practices come into question, they wont have a leg to stand on..... the talk talk campaign is a joke.... you're taught to lie to people to get them to buy a product which doesnt help them... at least with charities its a good cause..... how many road trips have you been on?.... how many times have your heard people say 'outside london, people are not wise to things like -bullet theory-feel felt found-jones effect etc'.... open your eyes because when they tell you you could be earning £45-50k a year, why are some of the managers still broke, living with leaders/parents and struggling to pay the people that work in their office?..... olu doesnt even have a car... which nigerian man you know who owns his own company but cant afford a car?...... JUICE to that huh?...... HIGH FIVE !!!

    JUICE!!!!

Angel I am more than happy to reveal my name as soon as you do. You sound really bitter. You must have not done very well here I'm assuming so I think I already know who you are. Its rather comical to read what you have written, You must have been one of the fraudsters, I assume they haven't got around to you yet thats why? I assume you know all the nigerian business owners, you must be well connected you must be looking to start your own business soon, especially with all the free time you have now. If the managers are so broke how are all these offices still opening up. The money has to come from somewhere.

i was there a week, what a waste of time!ive left now and everything ive seen on here is what ive been thinking before hand.wish i read this before would've saved myself a fortune and my feet!i joined thinking they were offering me a fantastic opportunity but as the weeks gone on ive realised that half the people there are completely brainwashed.every morning they have a morning meeting telling you to become manager quickly and u can earn£100k in 6-12months!its crap!people have been there years and are still leaders!!!its all abit cult like as they feed you with all this information using Psychological techniques.the leaders meeting is very secretive as noone tells you what goes on there as all they say is get to leader and you'll find out!i'd rather not thanks.glad ive left before i got in to deep!
dont let the big money talk cloud judgement!!!

I am in the business in a different city.  I have only been with the company for 4 months so I guess I may not know everything that there is to know but I do know a couple of things for sure:

all managers started in the field

london has more successful people that ride public transport then any other city in the world outside of new york

i earn between 400-500 quid a week, which is twice what i would probably make anywhere else just starting out

that building in old st is in zone 1 in london.  this is a really expensive place to have an office.

the building is run by people that are 22-28 years old

they must be making a lot of money to afford the building

talk talk saves people money which is why it is the number one provider of BB in the country and why it sponsors the biggest show in Europe

the office that i am in does charities.  last week the office did 300 applications.  the manager makes roughly 12 per application

    that's good money

for the owner and the charity

    not everyone makes it

they tell us that though and don't hide it

people seem to leave really bitter because they got their hopes up for a better life and didn't make it happen for whatever reason.

if you feel like you wronged in any way contacting the manager directly would seem like a better strategy then public slandering.

when people get so emotional from both sides it probably doesn't help

    my manager is 26

at my previous jobs, the managers were older, much older

math doesn't lie.  300 applications x 12 = 3600.  my manager showed my her expenses on her accounts.  it was roughly 900 quid per week.

    3600-900 = 2700

that is a lot of money for anyone, most certainly for a 26 year old

THEY SHOWED US THE DOOR TO DOOR SALES FOR A FULL DAY WHEN WE STARTED.  THIS IS VERY OPEN.  NONE OF MY OTHER JOBS SHOWED ME THE TOUGHEST PART OF THE JOB FOR A FULL DAY AND THEN ASKED ME IF THEY WANTED IT.

the people on this forum have the right to their opinions

it would be a real shame if they exaggerated their points in any way because then they would become the very thing that they are accusing these owners of

Hello anonymous - you are American aren't you? Your vocabulary gives you away. I suspect you are one of the senior managers who imported this vile recruitment/marketing model from the US. I've seen posts on other forums where a manager from your organisation pretends to be a satisfied employee.

Guys, Thanks for the heads up!

I got a call this afternoon and i thought it was for another company called Aspire (which is genuine and has NOTHING to do with marketing at all), which i had applied for. After checking the confirmation email and looking at their website, it just seemed all too funky so i typed in their number and found this page! I had also been contacted by EA Worldwide- something or other.... Load of crap. I won't be wasting my time. Thank you so much for the heads up.
