Tried me twice now. Don't know the number and I'm not about to answer.

Had a call from this number, asking for a donation to the National Trust.  Was I foolish to engage with them?

I am getting tired of deleting this number from my inbox.  I have given via telephone to a couple of charities and it annoys me to think this is how they are wasting my very small donations.

I've now had 4 calls off them in the space of an hour. They seem to phone every 3 months without fail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

apparently if you ring 02076197888 and leave your name and number they'll stop phoning...............i'll try but won't hold my breath !

Continual phonecalls I only answer known callers now

several calls a day at least one every day .most annoying

Had 6 calls from this number within 3 days. It was the National Trust begging for money (again). Is this harrassment or what?? Cocky chap on the other end boasts 'we're not covered by the TPS - we're a charity'.
Well NT, don't forget charity relies on goodwill and this is a surefire way to lose it!

Unidentified call

At the moment (October 2012) that number is being used by Breakthrough Breast Cancer. It is a charity and they are using a third party service i.e. Breakthrough have 'employed' their services so in that sense it is a bona fide number and not a scam or a nuisance call. But it depends whether you are happy to hear about their work or not I guess? I actually requested the Breakthrough Breast Cancer pack, but it remains to be seen whether they will keep calling!

They called Wed 25/10 but I could not understand what the caller was saying.  Very strong accent and spoke very quickly.  I have been making monthly standing order payments to UNICEF for some time but did not hear mention of that association

If you're paying on a direct debit sold to at the door or in the street then it will be a third party company. Which incidentally will keep 60% of your donation to themselves as only required by law to give actual charity 40%. My advice would be to cancel your direct debit and speak to charity directly about donating directly so your full donation is being put to good use.

Several calls from this number over the past month or two. Haven't answered as I only answer to people I know, however they never leave a message.

Age UK, allegedly calling to tell me about the good work they do. Phoned last night and I told them that I am not interested and then they phoned again today.

It's a call centre for "Listen" who call on behalf of a charity (about five times a day!)  What happens to TPS?  They obviously don't think they are covered by it.

They're calling on behalf of Breakthrough Breast Cancer. I sent a text for a free copy of a leaflet, after seeing it advertised at my local station. They called the next day, I was busy at work and now they ring daily. Don't particularly want to engage with anybody on the phone, I just want the info. This sort of thing gives me a negative view of the charity to be honest.
