Keeep on having calls from same number as you i called them back and they said that they were a charity and to stop calling call a number but they spoke too quickly

This number appears almost daily as a missed call on my mobile.  I have not returned the call as it maybe a scam

have had 2 calls daily for the past 2 weeks.........asked them where they had my number from but couldn't answer me.............told them to remove my number but stil receiving calls, annoying !!

Hi guys. I used to work for one Of the street charity fundraiser companies and that's how these companies contact you. If you have a long conversation and/or agree to sign up (great btw) it should be a quick thank you. The down side is that there are call centres who are driven by commission and not the charity. I'm not saying believed fully in every charity I represented but these are driven by commission so just ask to be taken off their books.

just recd call,claiming to be charity for deaf children.Then say's that problem with their system and that my direct debit info for my £10 monthly donation needs updated.Do not have such a direct debit.
so beware of these sick people

Just had a call from this number it was Plan UK because I used to sponsor a child with them......... emphasize the "used to". Why can't these charities leave me alone?

Have had at least 100 calls from these people, sometimes 7 or 8 times a day. I told them I wasn't interested, but they called back. My partner has answered approx 10 times and on each occasion has literally told them to Eff off unless they want to be sued and yet they continue to plague me. They seem to represent a different charity every time and are always very pleasant, but I am in no mood for pleasantries anymore. 2 days ago I answered and demanded they take my number off their list. They have called 5 times since.

Its most likely from Amnesty Charity, they were in Norwich on Wednesday getting people to dontate. I just got a call and missed it. Did not recognize the number and looked it up on here and came to your post. Then realized it is most likely from them. :-)

Persistent calls from this number. Refuse to answer numbers I do not recognise.

this must be a third party business calling on behalf of a number of other companies - the charity i was called on behalf of was battersea dogs & cats home

I got to the phone it rang off, so I did 1471 and got this number.  A few hours later the phone rang and it was someone calling on behalf of British Red Cross who wanted 3 minutes of my time.  I was in a hurry and I've had these 3 minute calls that last 20 mins so I said no.  After hanging up I did 1471 again and confirmed it was 02076 197597 ringing.  

Last year I took out a direct debit with British Red Cross, but cancelled it earlier this year when my circumstances changed and I found out they were taking slightly more than agreed on my form.  There is another charity who keeps pestering me because I once gave them money.  Moral, give as much cash to charities as you can afford, but never give your phone number to them - they sell them on or keep coming back like a bad rash.

phone rang 3 times but just dead when I answered. Googled and saw comments about charity. The only time I have used my phone was to donate to telly for Ethiopa...

I am fed up getting calls to my mobile from 020 7619 7597.  There is never a message left and I am reluctant to call them back as I am not totally sure who they are.

Having seen the many reports on this number and not recognising the number as anyone I know, I am reporting having received a call from it.  If some organisation is busy fishing, this is not the way to do it guys - heard of data protection and inappropriate sharing and use of personal data?

It's WWF. I made a donation and they told me there were going to call me again. And again. And again. For once I would like them to call and offer me a job!

I have had a few calls from this number, I don't answer anymore

I have had calls from this number every day for the past couple of weeks. I picked it up one day and it turned out to be the charity NDCS. I used to donate to them by direct debit but I cancelled the DD and now they (or an agency calling on their behalf?) are bugging me to start it again. Much as I want to give to charity, I'm getting a bit annoyed with being harrassed for money all the time.

This number called my mobile phone, I didnt answer but rang the number back from my work phone as this witholds numbers. It is a charity and all they say is that they will ring you back and to phone a number to remove your details from their call list.

I get 2 calls a day from this number on my mobile but no message left who is it?
