- Sarah NeelyI have 3 missed calls from this no in the past week, always aroung 7:30/8p.m. I have no idea who it is or how they got my number.
- Emma H| 2 repliesCame in to work this morning and saw a missed call from this number on my desk phone @ 19:08 yesterday evening. I work for quite a large company and don't give out my direct line so I've no idea how they got it.
- auto-dialler replies to Emma H| 1 replyjust rings random numbers in sequence till it gets a hit, then either plays robo-message or transfers to an agent, if available; could be based anywhere in world, even tho "look like" a London, UK source.
- Ex GFK employee replies to auto-diallerThey're based in Elephant and Castle. Directly above the shopping centre. Best of a bad lot in terms of employment.
- Ian SummerfieldThe person calling is extremely RUDE. What sort of stupid person rings and in the opening statement asks "are you driving or operating any heavy equipment at the moment?" - we asked "why?", they replied "you have to answer the question first" and they repeated it again. Damn rude, told them to delete our number from their database and not to be so damn rude as to interrupt peoples evenings with stupid questions. Did say she was calling on behalf of Lloyds. Lloyds are clearly selling on OUR details against our will.
- Caller: on behalf of LLOYDS BANK

- Lynn replies to Claire Ivins| 1 replyI've just had a call from this number tonight. I didn't pick up and they hung up without leaving a message or identifying themselves. I did some research on this number online and like the commenter Claire, above, I too read that it is a telemarketing company and read that OFCOM hired them in previous years to research about nuisance/telepest calls. Quite ironic if it was them then seeing as they called me at ten past eight in the evening and didn't even have the decency to leave any message or ID themselves! And my outgoing message states ".....if you are a genuine caller leave your name and a message...." They didn't. Evening call with no details left? Note that's what I class as a nuisance / pest call !!!
- Lynn replies to LynnSorry, meant to read "Now that's what I class as a nuisance / pest call" !
- DeirdreThey've called twice in a week, despite being told we dont 'DO' surveys. I hung up. Female caller had Irish accent. We are in Ireland and surprised to get a call from London as we have no connections there at all!
- Caller: they didn't say,

- DAvebeing pestered by this number at w/e's and during the evenings. Just won't answer now. I'm registered with TPS but that doesn't seem to have any effect!! What a bunch of losers!!

- Amlwch| 1 replyCall received from this number 16:55 on Sat 16th. My wife answered, and the caller asked for me by name. When my wife asked what the call was about, she received the reply "market research"; but the caller refused to give any further details, and so the call was terminated.
A second call was made on Sunday 17th at 10:05 - this time taken by my answering machine. The caller did not speak.- Call type: Telemarketer
- Cedric PoppletonCaller asked if I would support the alternative new runway proposal for Heathrow. The idea is to widen the M25 on the straight stretch near Godalming and heighten all the bridges, thus enabling planes to land here during quiet traffic periods. (Is there a straight stretch near Godalming?) Anyway, it sounds balmy to me, especially raising the bridges to accommodate taxiing 747s. There are lots of health & safety issues here. And what about the 580s? Don't they have a wider wing span? I told him I was not really that interested, since I spend most of my life on the Faroe Islands selling woolly jumpers on EBay.
- Caller: Runway Solutions Are Us

- Gwen replies to AmlwchI've just had a similar experience. Female caller kept asking for my husband by name (at one point even referred to his as Mr *Insert first name*!). Despite numerous requests asking WHY she was calling (All I got was "customer satisfaction survey, I can't give you any more details, Data Protection {blah blah blah}...", she offered to put a senior manager on the line (at 18.20, no less(!)). Came back after a minute or so to tell me no manager was available (surprise, surprise!) and that she would get a manager to ring me back "in the next few minutes". I suspect I will be waiting forever...
- Steph replies to DianaWhy were you looking up the number then if you were happy with their service... ha ha you clearly work for them - idiot!!
- StephAnnoying man called Jordan Lee calling from GFK regarding tax reporting - trying to waste my Directors time, these idiots will never get past me, I simply hang up on them.
- Caller: GFK

- MivanaI got a call from this number today, a short while ago, from a lady who knew my name and called on behalf of GFK ("Growth for Knowledge"; I asked!), for a short Survey about my Motor Insurance (she knew the correct company!).
I warned her that I would not give her any personal, private, specific and or financial information or answer any questions requesting anything like that.
None of the questions I was asked had anything remotely like that in them, so I was (for once) obliging in responding to such a call; it was mainly trying to establish satisfaction with this particular company ......
As always some very irritating or stupid questions included, not catering for all eventualities.....
At the end she asked me if I would be willing to accept further calls to explore in more detail, some of the questions asked /answers given, but I declined on the basis that I was not prepared to give more of my time for free.
As with all surveys the "duration time" (again I had asked) was 2.5 times longer then indicated. . .. ! T hough it may have been my opinion voiced about a lot of the questions and/or my annoyance with some, that prolonged the procedure... 😁- Caller: GFK
