Got a call from an Indian speaking gentleman named George from Sanda Wellness Centre at 6.45 in the evening, asking me questions about my health and wellbeing especially about arthritis. He recomended that I buy Rosex Rosehip Extract to eliviate the pain over a number of months at an initial charge of £14.95 for 30 tablets. I do not know how he got my name or telephone number but indicated that he was somehow officially in connection with a government scheme for pensioners. I was a bit wary and refused to pay anything. After reading other comments I think this is obviously a some sort of scam.

Elderly relative received a call, stating merits of Rosex for arthritis.

Having looked up Rosex I have discovered that it is an anticoagulant.

Surely it must be dangerous to take this with Warfarin. When my relative stated that they were on various medication including Warfarin and that they would  discuss it with their doctor, they were told that there was no need to talk to their doctor as the medical profession would not agree with it!!!!!!!!!!!.

I have advised my relative not to have anything to do with this company.

Well, I received my packet of Rosex, in a large envelope with some leaflets about the company. I still do not think that the price of p&p was indeed the £5.50 they charged. However I can't test the product as I take Warfarin and you should not combine this with any type of vitamin C. If I can convince my husband to take them, I will report back on how they work for him. Please be careful with this company, they seem to be trading just inside the law enough to avoid an enquiry. In the meantime they get away with what is clearly fraud.

My mum was taken in by the cold calling Indian lady and signed up for 1 box of Rosex for her arthritus pain at £14.99 I then discovered that the same day £150 had been taken from her account. Having googled Sanda wellbeing I came acroos this site and saw Bali Bailey's message so thought I would contact her, well why not if it helps me get my mums money back.
Well suprise suprise it actually worked and my mum got a full refund.
Its worth trying at the end of the day you cannot lose anything more.
Good luck to all who try hope it works for you.

    MR & MRS HAMLYN
Two separate calls first to Mrs and then, the next day, to Mr Hamlyn, from a so-called 'Arthritis Specialist' of the NHS (he persisted in reiterating that he was an Arthritis Specialist) promoting the use of rosehips in the form of Rosex tablets and wanting our address in order to post £14.99p worth of tablets - a supply of one month.  This foreign-accented man purported that taking one month's supply of these tablets would protect you from arthritis for the following 5-6 years!  We obviously did not go so far as ordering them, realising this was a hoax call, so no credit card details were given.  Insult was added to injury when we had a repeat call the following day.
How do these people manage to get hold of your details?  They are a sub-cultural low life preying on vulnerable people.  This is a total scam and something should be done to protect elderly people, especially elderly people suffering the misery of arthritis, from this type of fraud - or even theft.

I received an item in the post today which apparently I ordered on 26th November. I rang to say I did not order the item, the advisor said he had spoken to me on the 26th November and I had requested the product. Funny that seeing as I was on holiday in the Maldives so it would have been a pretty expensive phone call. What worries me is where they got my details from and also he said I had paid for the item? Not sure how I have paid for it? If you get any calls or post from this company put the phone down or report it to the police they are DODGY.

5 years ago I began taking 4 extra strength 750mg/750mg combination of Glucosamine sulfate and Chondroitin supplements every day to combat the beginnings of arthritis in my left hand. These worked great for about 2 years, but then my problem seemed to worsen and the supplements weren’t working as well anymore. So, when we were transferred to uk I decided to not bring any of these supplements with me. Since then I have been basically just toughing it out with Aspirin or Naproxen and experimenting with various arthritis creams until your supplements came out, at which time I decided to give them a try.

I do think that the rosex formula is helping, since the pain has significantly subsided.

My mother was called by someone from this company who convinced her that she would loose weight by taking one of their products! She was told that as a pensioner she would not be charged the full amount but £15.00 - when the products arrived she had 10 boxes at £15.00 plus delivery. I think it is appaling that these people are able to conn pensioners into parting with their money and selling them products that DO NOT do what they were sold as. Pomy as it is called gives no information on weight loss!!  Someone should shut these people down....

Surprise! I was called last night at about 8pm. by a Jason Parker, saying he was doing a survey of the needs of senior citizens. I told him I didn't need anything and he rang off. Do they not realise that they have already called me? The number last night was 02086190746.

    Dear concerned daughter

Firstly I must apologise for the problems you have experienced with Sanda Wellness and I hope that we can work towards a successful resolution of your current situation.

Due to the issues being raised by our valuable customers on websites such as these we have taken a series of steps to ensure that we operate in a professional manner.

    1.    We no longer allow our sales staff to handle the customer service.
    2.    We have implemented a UK based team to aid any customers who experience anything but the highest levels of service from us.

Our Chairman is insistent that our brand is managed and represented correctly and to that end has instructed his immediate PA to manage all complaints directly. In effect this means that unhappy customers like you now have a direct route to the top of our company and any problems can be rectified with the minimum of fuss.

To proceed, I invite you to contact Bali Bailey on complaints@sandawellbeing.com (Direct, UK managed, email address) with details of your problem and she will rectify it for you as a matter of urgency.

I would also like to welcome the circulation of this email address to anyone who needs it, as Sanda is far from a ‘Scam’ company but is a dynamic, forward thinking outfit.

I appreciate that this approach is unorthodox and may receive some sceptical comments but I hope that, in time, our actions will prove the doubters wrong.

    Yours Sincerely

I registered on TPS a while back and have registered a complaint on their website now as I received calls from Sanda anway.

"The Telephone Preference Service (TPS) is a free service. It is the official central opt out register on which you can record your preference not to receive unsolicited sales or marketing calls. It is a legal requirement that all organisations (including charities, voluntary organisations and political parties) do not make such calls to numbers registered on the TPS unless they have your consent to do so."

Maybe you want to have a read of that Bali Bailey and stop annoying people that don't want to be bothered by you.

I was called from Sanda Wellbeing about some tablets that would do my arthritis good, I was told they would cost me £14.95 and they would ring me in 25 days to see how I got on. Later that week I got my parcel and when I opened it the first thing I saw was a receipt for £149.95 and 10 boxes of the tablets. I rung straight away and said that I was not told there would be 10 boxes costing £149.95 I was told to send them back or a refund that as 8 days ago and I am still waiting. Do not deal with these people I have learnt the hard way.

My elderly mother (85) was phoned by this company and persuaded she needed some Rosex to help her aching back. The company had her name and details of her health 'problems'. She was told that she would receive two months free and that, as four months was the minimum recommended period for taking the product, she would need two more bottles at £14.95 each.
Having heard some negative comments about the sales tactics of this company I warned her of the danger and she decided to stop the payment. I phoned the company and cancelled the order and I also e-mailed them accordingly on her behalf. Her bank stopped her debit card but, sadly, the company had already taken £125 from her account.
We are now fighting to get the money back!
