- Janet| 1 replyI was rang by Michelle on 10th Dec and offered some rosex tablets. After talking to me about 20 mins i agreed to buy some tablets for £14.95 and was then passed to Marie. She said I would be contacted in 45 days to see how progressing . I stupidly gave my credit card details and found out on Mon 13th that Sandawellbeing had taken £65.96. I rang the 0208 number and asked for a callback which never received. I rang my credit card company and they said couldnt stop or refund the amount because they hadnt heard the conversation. I rang the 028 number on Dec 16th and was told the offices were shut until 3rd January 2011. As at 3rd January I still have not recd any tablets. SO ANNOYED THAT BEEN CONNED

Bali. - PRN replies to Sanda WellbeingI posted earlier on the list. I contacted Bali Bailey at the email address she supplied and can confirm she acted swiftly and professionally to refund my Mother's money. I would recommend any who have been similarly miss-sold products to contact her directly.

- Elizabeth| 4 repliesI have had a telephone call tonight from a slightly different phone number from a lady who said she was phoning on behalf of my local health centre. She asked about my health and asked if I was taking any medication. I suffer with a bad back and gave her this information. The lady then started to talk about the 'benefits' of taking Rosex tablets. I agreed to buy a box of 30 tablets for £14.95 and gave her my husband's credit card details, luckily he only has a low credit limit. I was then transferred to a gentleman, a Senior Joint Specialist who would be monitoring my dosage and treatment progress. I could not get rid of this gentleman and was on the telephone for over an hour as I didn't like to be rude and put the phone down as he kept telling me the minimum quantity I could buy was 16 boxes and I would receive 4 boxes free at a cost of £250.00. Eventually he agreed I could buy half this quantity at a cost of £125.00. I was not happy with what I had agreed to so checked about Rosex on the Internet only to find all these comments. I have since contacted the credit card company to find that a payment for £250.00 has already been authorised but cannot cancel this at the moment. Will keep you updated when I know more.

- MaryI had a call today from an Indian sounding gentleman named Austin who after asking all questions about my health wanted me to buy some rose hip syrup capsules. I woul not give him any bank details and he kept going on about why I didn't trust him and that his company was registered by the data protection act but I then just put the phone down on him. I do not ever give my bank details to unsolicited callers and urge other people to be vigilant about this.

- alkyThis company uses dubious practices to sell it's products. My mother is 78 and suffers from several complaints and takes enough medication to run her own pharmacy.
When she told us that she had been contacted by a company selling her tablets on 7 December 2010, we were firstly concerned that they would cause complications with the medication she was already taking. She told us that they had checked with her doctor and called her back. Unfortunately, she couldn't tell us what she had agreed to buy or the name of the company.
It was only when she got her bank statement that we got the name of the company and found that they took £150 from her account on 10 December. So far she has not received any tablets, and if they are anticoagulants, then they will interfere with her Warfarin and could be injurious to her health and she will either end up back in hospital or 6ft under.
We will be seeking to get her money back and will also notify Trading Standards, as well as stopping her card to prevent any further payments being taken.
There are too many of these companies around that are willing to overcharge for these "supplements" that are no substitute for a proper balanced diet.- Caller: sandawellbeing.com

- Anonymous and not GullibleI was contacted today by Sander Well Being from this telephone No. on the pretext of providing a 'Pomegranite skin extract' to aid my condition for COPD. They suggested that I give them my card details to enable them to provide this item which would be delivered within the next few days at a fixed sum of money. When challenged for me to send a cheque for the item, the cost immediately increased and the lady called Olivia of Indian origin continued to try to sell me the extract. I said I would check the company out before sending any money and under no circumstances would I give them my card details over the phone. I also questioned how they had obtained knowledge of my condition - to which she said they had done some research and I was listed as part of this research. I could so easily have been taken off guard and this is a warning to all those people who are contacted this way. The police and trading standards office have been informed and will be investigating this matter.

- James D| 3 repliesMy mother recieved one of these scam calls after Christmas from an Indian caller and gave her card details for 250 pounds "worth" of GOPO rosehip tablets (six months supply, that would cost at most 60 pounds anywhere else), before telling me that she felt she may have been conned. The con artist on the phone seemed to have a lot of information about her. We called back and cancelled the order (inspite of the scam callers insistance that without these tablets, she would soon be hooked on paracetamol, have stomach ulcers as a result and that I would doubtless soon be sending him a box of chocolates as thanks when we found out that the GOPO tablets worked so well! Yeah. Right). The tablets were returned when they arrived and the transaction cancelled.
I´m not sure if these tablets even have any proven benefit, but selling them to vulnerable elderly people at grossly inflated prices should not be tolerated. How do these scammers sleep at night?
Does anyone know where they are based?- Caller: Telemarketing
- ANNE WILSONI RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS COMPANY AND THE CALLER SAID HIS NAME WAS GEORGE. - megreceived telephone call today from someone called daniel brown - with a foreign accent - very hard to understand. he asked if i had athritis, to which i replied yes but not very bad. - he then asked if i wanted to take rose hip tablets, he told me how many to take and how much they were - £14.95 for 30 tablets, i replied that they would only last me 2 weeks. He was very insistant that i purchased these and when i told him that i would think about it he wouldn't take that as an answer - he kept going on about purchasing. He put the phone down in the end. After reading your many messages i was pleased that i didn't give any bank details over the phone.

- sandy replies to Patricia Hughesthis person cannot even spell...and there are several entries along the same lines, all in this 'text speak'...i have had numerous calls about rosex from 'cecilia' of wellness centre, must be costing them a fortune in phone bill-why would they do that to earn £15 from me for the tablets??
- James, WalesMy mother gave her details over the phone after a call which perfectly adheres to the all the traits discussed on this forum regarding Sandwellness. A customer of mine complained about having a pressure call from these people too. Both my mother and customer have the same complaints and live in the same area, I'm wondering if their medical details have been handed over. I am furious as they have called again tonight. I shall keep a whistle by the phone that will sound a shrill anti-Sandwellness tune when they call next. Spencer and Rose can keep it.

- customer replies to Sanda Wellbeing| 3 repliesDear Bali,
I note your comments with interest and am pleased you are monitoring these posts. My mother-in-law was also contacted by your company despite being registered with TPS.
Following details on your web site, at her request, I have e-mailed csuk@sandawellbeing.com with order number, customer id and a request to cancel the order this evening. She will be returning the parcel this week. Could you please confirm that this is satisfactory and no phone call is required?
I would appreciate any help you can give to expedite this issue.
Yours faithfully.
J. Bartram - JTI had a call today from an Indian lady called Roshel who was trying to sell me Rosex tablets for osteo-arthritis. She talked for ages about what she wanted me to do - drinking warm water with honey and lemon every morning, she went on and on then eventually got round to mentioning the benefits of rosehip syrup. She then tried to sell me Rosex with gopo tablets and said that a doctor would ring me at regular intervals to see how I was getting on with them. I told her I wasn't interested in buying anything over the phone. She asked me why not and I said I would need to do further research first, and if I did decide I had her phone no and would ring her back. She got quite annoyed by this and hung up. The no. she called from was 0208 6190075.

- livvyjoy| 2 repliesTotally digusting preying on elderly people. They called my 75 year old mum today and kept her talking for 25 minutes. They knew all her medication and all her ailments. A "lovely" lady sweet talked her into giving her bank details! She told me when I called in after work and immediatly alarm bells rang,Luclily enough my mum had dialled1471 and tthe number came up which I called and queried the name of the company. I googled them and this site came up. I contacted my Mum's bank and cancelled her card after reading all the comments on here, there were amounts pending to them, hopefully we have been in time to stop them. Thank you for all of you that have posted on here.
I feel sad because not all elderly people have relations that can help them. I have contacted Trading Standards also.I asked the Indian lady where they had obtained my mums details from and they were very vague. Please do not be taken in by this.- Caller: Santa Wellness
